ECRM MEMBERSHIP POLICY

When new members are considered for admission as a guest, the procedure is fairly informal and straightforward.  All members of the coven must be acquainted with and feel comfortable allowing the perspective guest in question.  There are no specific requirements for a person to be a guest, aside from discretion and secrecy of active member identities.  We do, however, reserve the right to get to know each other a bit before inviting someone into the circle.  We believe that this policy is in the best interests of both the prospective member and the coven.  The decision to accept a new guest must be unanimous.  Once accepted, guests may join as dedicants, and after a period of study, fellowship, and participation.  If a dedicant fulfills her/his requirements including: predefined study curiculum, unanimous coven approval and the dedicant time period (traditionally a year and a day), they become eligible for initiation. After initiation, the initiate is required to fulfill obligations to remain active such as attendance to meetings and sabbats, community service, abiding by the Wiccan Rede.
