Goals of ECCRC - Literacy (building Lighthouse Library in Dexter - a community library), assisting others with getting into college, with getting a job (or a better job), and with life needs such as food. ECCRC has a food pantry that offers food daily (opening soon in Dexter). The only requirement is that you need food & repay the favor by helping someone else when you can. ECCRC depends 100% on public donations. It has no federal or state grant funds. ECCRC has offered many Basic Computer Workshops (these are on hold until the Dexter Site opens), E-Bay Workshops, Grief Support Group, AA Support Group, and Quilting Workshops. It is also an SRS Access site. All the wonderful services & projects were accomplished by your donations. ECCRC qualified as a PUBLIC 501-C in good standing since 2003. ECCRC has full Non-Profit status. Your donations of food, household items, and financial contributions are tax deductible. Please ask for a donation receipt when needed.
ECCRC has a board of directors & meets quarterly. Meetings are open to the public.

ECCRC is entering its 6th year of operation. It is here to serve you. Look for our opening in Dexter sometime this fall.
ECCRC was founded after a local family experienced the sudden loss of their young dauther to a car wreck. Although their daughter was entering what would have been the happiest time of her life (planning an upcoming wedding), the family says they can offer the love they had for her to others by serving their needs. Jennifer Nicole Norris was someone who always seemed to look out for the "under-dog" & only wanted life to be fair. We all know that life is not fair. But it is with the hope & help of others who provide valuable donations of time and funds to support the programs that ECCRC offers that life becomes more fair.
"This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24.
Jennifer Nicole Norris, 1979 - 1999.
