Pixel Effect

First, open up your image. I chose the following:

Go to your layers palette, and chose duplicate layer.

Go to effects->distortion effects->pixelate.

Set your settings simalar to mine, depending on the image size

Go to the layer palette->overlay, hard light, or soft light. You choose!

Finished product:

Guassian Blur

Open your image. I chose the following:

Go to your layers palette, and choose duplicate layer

Next, go to adjust->blur->gaussian blur

Set the radius to 7.0

go to the layer palette, and choose either hard light, overlay, or soft light

Finished product:

Border Images

1.Open up your celeb image. I chose the following (image from Elegance Pixelfied):



2. Magic wand (take away the colored parts aroung your celeb) your celeb. To do so, just adjust the tolerance (how many colors the wand will "tolerate") to where it looks good, click, and delete



3. Draw a selection around your celeb, and click them



4. Go to Selections->Modify->Expand. Expand it 2 pixels



5. Take your fill bucket, with the forground color white, and fill in the selction (make sure you don't fill the celeb in white!)



6. Take the eydropper tool () and choose a color from your celeb. Go to Selections->Modify->Select Selection Borders. Set the number at 2



7. Take the color you got from the celeb before, and fill in the selection. Tah-Dah! This is really helpful for making celeb layouts ;). Finished product:

Colorizing

1. Coose your image. I cose the following:



2. Go to Adjust-> Hue And Saturation-> Colorize



3.Set the Hue And Saturation how ever you's like it. The lower the saturiation, the darker! (Hue changes the color)

Gradient Colorizing

1. Choose your picture; I chose the following:



2. Click the foreground color, then go to gradients



3. Make a new raster layer, and fill it in with the gradient of your choice



4. Choose Soft light, Overlay, or Hard light



5. Here's my finished product:

Celebrity Glow

This is the picture I chose:

1.Open up a new canvas. I choose 500X400

2.Paste your image as a new layer.

3.Then,right click your image and copy it.

4.Say paste as new layer again.

5.Click back to the first layer

6.Go to Adjust->Blur->Gaussian Blur

7.Set your settings like mine

8.Click Ok. You won't see a diffrence but don't worry.
9.Click back to layer 2.

10.See where it says normal? Click on the little arrow next to it.

11.Choose the setting Overlay

It should look like this:

Done!

Diagonal Line

1. Choose your image; I chose the following:



2. Make a new iage. Set your settings like mine:



3. Take your paintbrush (selections like below)



4. Make a diagonal line like mine



5. Go to your colors pallete, choose the foreground color, and got to patterns



6. Choose the diagonal pattern you made before, and set the scale to where the pattern looks clear



7. Make a new raster layer, and fill it with your pattern. Set the properties to Soft light, Hard ight, or Overlay


Finished product:

Bordered Text

1.First open up a new canvas. About 200X100

2.Choose your favorite font. I choose DoubleOhOne
3.Set your foreground to no color and your background to white.

4.Set your settings like mine

5.Click and put your text on your canvas.
6.The text is white so you won't see it.
7.Right click the text and copy it.
8.Next, go to Selections->Modify->Expand

9.Set your settings like mine.

10.Next take your paintbrush with the foreground color set to black and color in the selection.

11.Then say Ctrl+D
12.Right click and say paste as new selection, center the text inside the border
13.Press Ctrl+D again and your done!
It should look like this:

3D/Glowing Text

Here are the colors I chose:
Foreground: #fc60c0
Background: #f7039e
1.First open up a new canvas. 200X100 will work
2.Choose the text tool and set your settings like mine

3.With your text still selected go to Effects>>3D Effects>>Inner Bevel

4.Set your settings like mine.

5.With your text still selected go to Effects>>3D Effects>>Drop Shadow

6.Set your settings like mine. Make sure to set the color as your foreground color

7.do step six 3 or 4 times until the glow is how you like it.
Your done! Your finished product should look like this:

This is a tutorial on glitters.
You must own Paint Shop Pro 7 or higher. You also must have Animation Shop.
1.First pick an image. I chose this one:

2.Make a new canvas, any size. I chose 100X100
3.Paste your image as a new layer.

4.Use the Magic wand tool.

5.Set your settings like mine.

6.Select the areas that you want to glitter.

7.Hold down shift to select more than one area.
8.Go to Adjust>>Add/Remove Noise>>Add Noise...

9.Set your settings like mine.

10.Then say File>>Save
11.Name it 1. Also save it as .gif
12.Then say Ctrl+Z
13.Then repeat step 8.
14.This time set the noise to 15
15.Then say File>>Save As
16.Save it as 2.gif
17.Repeat steps 12-13
18.Set the noise to 25
19.Say File>>Save As
20.Save it as 3.gif
21.Open Animation Shop.

22.Say File>>Animation Wizard

23.Say Same size as the first image frame. Click next
24.Say Transparent. Click next.
25.Say Centered in the frame. Then say With the Canvas Color. Click Next
26.Say Yes, repeat the animation indefinitely. Put 10 in the box. Click next.
27.Add images 1-3. Click next

28.Then say Finish
29.Go to View>>Animation


You're done! It should look like this:

open up your image...

high light it like this :

(pretend that that image where to be on your browser)
press print screen or prnt scrn and paste it on paint.
select the part you want the opacitated blog to be:


then copy that and now for the tricky part, open up a new window for paint and paste the blog there, go back to your image and copy it, then paste it where you had your first image. Copy your blog part again and position it to where it regularly was. yes, very tricky. You might be a few pixels off though...
