to pull readers into his literary works until they've become a part of the
story, like a next door neighbor looking through the window of his imagination.
His vast repertoire of theatrical appearances might explain his flair for a
dramatic and well-turned story. As a contemporary author with an inspirational
style, his voice is tempered with realism.
Ayala's 1997 fledgling production of the play Restoration was so well received it
evolved into a self-published novel the following year. Both the play and the book
made and indelible mark on the audience's psyche and remains a favorite selection
more than 8 years later. Producing the play rekindled his long time love of the

As a child, Eric wrote and created characters that were primarily in cartoon form,
he called SoapToons. Once his classmates, friends, and eventually co-workers,
discovered his artistic abilities, he was enlisted to produce
personalized stories that included their likenesses. That was the training
ground for the passion that would become and obsession.
His stories engage and encourage readers to draw their own conclusions. His books
and plays are based on biblical principles that transcend
the boundaries and notions of the traditional church.
Ayala has written and directed stage productions of; Will You Be Made Whole (also
a self-published novel) and The Women, (listen to the sound bite on that page).
Alabaster Box...Two Women One Struggle (and) ...if I should die before I wake,
are two other phenomenal reads in Ayala's library. All of his books are available on
Amazon.com and Cafepress.com.
By all accounts there is no end to the talents of this prolific dynamo. His ability to
draw readers with genuine and heartfelt truths can't be denied. To quote the author:
"Writing used to be my only escape in life, now it has become my life."
