In Webb House there are three rooms that may be rented separately or else as an entire cottage, please contact us eatonwebb@ns.sympatico.ca  for rates.  Each room also has access to a full kitchen with dishwasher, sitting room with colour cable television and front sunporch, upstairs there is an additional sitting room outside of Rooms 1 and 2.

All rooms are equipped with a picnic basket, beach towels and a beach bag. In the large yard there are games available including badminton, volleyball and croquet.

                                                           Room 1 is an upstairs double room with a view of the water from the bed.

It has a queen sized bed and a private ensuite bathroom with a shower

and rents for $80. per night with no tax charged.

The luxurious downstairs Suite was originally the double parlor of this 1850's house. It has all hardwood floors and features a queen sized bed with a new pillow-top mattress, air conditioning, a corner gas fireplace in a private sitting room and full ensuite bathroom.  In the private sitting room is a double futon which can be used for an additional two people. Webb House has a large back yard as well as a garage, washer and dryer.  We also supply lawn games and a barbecue!

The Bright and Cheerful Housekeeping Cottage

The fully equipped air conditioned Housekeeping Cottage

is located beside the main house

and has it's own private entrance and picnic area with picnic table and lawn chairs.

 It has a kitchen-living room with double sized futon sofa,                                                                                                          

colour cable television, full -sized stove, fridge, sink and microwave. 

All dishes and linens - including beach towels and

beach bag - are included.

 The bedroom has an antique double bed and a 4 piece bathroom

 which is also accessed from the kitchen-living room. 

It rents for $90. per night  for two people, $100. for three (with no tax charged).

ROOMS IN THE MAIN HOUSE

 The Cyrus Eaton Room is where Cyrus Eaton slept during the Thinkers' Conferences, leaving the bedrooms at the Lodge for his guests.  It is an upstairs room and features  a queen-sized bed with new pillow-top mattress, a view of the water from the bed, ceiling fan, and a private bathroom. The Eva Eaton-Webb Suite was Cyrus' sister Eva's bedroom, it is also an upstairs room and features a double bed, private ensuite bath and sitting room, all air conditioned. We now feature a single daybed in the private sitting room so that the room may sleep three people.  There is a view of the water from the bed and a small refrigerator for guests' use.    The room rents for $100. per night with no tax charged. eatonwebb@ns.sympatico.ca

The Royal George

They are 0wned  and operated by the grand-nephew  of philanthropist  Cyrus Eaton, prize winning artist-photographer Paolo Brenciaglia and his artist wife, Sandi.

 We are located across the street from  the Eaton estate, the site of the early Pugwash Peace Conferences,  www.pugwash.org

We also have given space to the Pugwash Peace Exchange, www.pugwashpeaceexchange.org .

Having attended the first Conferences in the 1950's we well remember the people and the times and have  a small library on the early Conferences.

Our peaceful private gardens have shady as well as sunny places to sit and relax.

 We have two private picnic areas and are located in the quiet heart of  Pugwash Village, surrounded by water views.

  The beach is less than a minute's walk from the house - shops, grocery stores, and other Village amenities

are within close walking distance as well.  We supply beach bags and beach towels and a picnic set for each room or cottage.

Fresh lobster is available at the local wharf in season, we also supply lobster cooking pots!

Cancellations will be accepted up to 48 hours prior to arrival.  IMPORTANT note: we do not live at the Guest House.  We need to know when you will arrive so that we will be sure to be there to meet you. Please let us know when you know what time you will be showing up. Check in time is between 3 and 7pm, check out time is by 11am.  Other arrangements may be made by letting us know in advance.
