Eastside Community Center

The mission of the Eastside Community Center is to preserve and strengthen family life in all its form, and to promote enhanced functioning of individuals, families, and communities.  We also implement and coordinate a comprehensive array of family and neighborhood initiatives that encourage individual self reliance, eradicate poverty while promoting economic parity and responsible neighborhood growth and development.

The Eastside Community Center will host weekly meeting beginning March 1, 2007.  The meetings will take place every Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  The meetings will focus on building a strong community and self reliance.  There will be several workshops throughout the year focused on education, job training, entrepreneurship opportunities and procurement of government contract.  There will also be financial planning, real-estate investments and a tax preparation course.  We have partnered with several agencies to bring some outstanding program to the community.  These classes and meeting are free for everyone.  The Eastside Community Center will work with all skill levels.  Please contact the office for more information.
