East Midlands Home Education

I am a home educating parent and I am hoping to help enable other home educating parents to easily find information about group’s activities where their children can socialise and/or enjoy learning activities. 

My aim is to include information about activities and events aimed at home educating families, as well as details of any online discussion/support lists in the East Midlands area.  I would also like to list information about any non-home ed activities/clubs/events/venues which may be particularly noteworthy, perhaps because they allow parents to stay and watch an organised adult-led activity or maybe they offer a discount to home educated kids, or allow an older sibling to attend an under 5's group. If anyone can recommend something like this, please contact me with the information.

Also, as it is not uncommon for parents to home educate children with disabilities/special needs which often greatly increases the cost of home education, I also aim to include information about discounts available to parents/carers.
