Membership is $25 per year. You must be a member to Qualifiy for the Fishoff. Tournament cost is $30 per tournament for members. ONLY CLUB MEMBERS OF EAST GATE BASS CLUB MAY FISH THE CLUB TOURNAMENTS.
*MEMBERS ONLY* Any family member 15 years old and younger may fish at no additional cost with a club member. Their catch will be included in the boaters 5 fish limit. I6 Fisherman showed up for the first night tournament of the season. A total of 101.40 pounds of fish were weighed in for the tournament. Thundersticks, poppers, crank baits and plastic accounted for the catches. Six people weighed in a 5 fish limit. Jeff Davis was not sure if he was going to make the tournament, but did so in a big way. Jeff with a 5 fish limit had 12.28 pounds to take first place. Second place went to Tim Nichols. Even with 3 dead fish Tim had 11.76 pounds which included a 5 pound lunker! Tim had trolling motor problems and live well pump problems. If his pump had held up he would have placed better in the tournament. Sorry Tim. After being shut out for the first two tournaments Steve Austin had a good night. Steve also weighed in five fish going 10.42 pounds to take third place. 4th place went to Jimmy Pack with a total of 9.60 pounds. Jimmy also had a five fish limit. We would like to welcome Harv Burdette back in the club. Harv has fished the club in the past and after taking a break has joined us again for the 2012 season. Good to have you back Harv!

Benny is having his Wednesday Night Lunker tournaments again this year and has invited all the East Gate Bass Club members to join him from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm Wednesday nights going out of the Hardy Ramp. Cost is $10 per boat, one fish per boat.
Due to the increased membership of the club we have limited the guest rule to just family members. Hopefully in the future we can make accomadations for past club members to fish with us again as a guest.
The April tournament will be made up Oct. 6th. The Fishoff date TBA.

New Rule Changes for 2012 season:
There will be 10 regular season club tournaments and a Fishoff tournament. To Qualify for the Fishoff tournament you must be a club member and fish at least 8 club tournaments and pay fishoff fees ($5.00) for any missed tournaments. As an option, a member can pay $30 for a missed tournament and collect the participation points also. After 10 club tournaments the top 2 club members per point standings will be awarded the following: 1st place awarded $200, 2nd place awarded $100. We will cull two tournaments this year. Ramp locations and tournament times subject to change. Please check the website before each tournament. I will try to contact everyone of any changes.
