SCHEDULE                  

Two sections (if 16 players or more) - 3 Round Swiss System – Game / 90 - Rounds 10:00, 1:30 and 5:00

BYES:  One ½ point bye available for Rounds 1 or 2 if requested with advance entry 

REGISTRATION:  9:15-9:45am at the playing site

PRIZES  

Based on 20 adults:    OPEN:                          $160-10

                                   Under 1600:                  $125-75

If fewer entries, expect around 85% of EF's to be awarded.        

ENTRY FEE

$30 if received by 3/27/08, $35 at tournament.

Special EF of $10 for players under age 15 

ELIGIBILITY

USCF and NCCA membership required.  http://www.uschess.org/  or http://www.ncchess.org/  . Other states accepted. NCCA not required for age 18 and under

Room 306, CMAST Building, Carteret Community College,                       303 College Circle, Morehead City, NC 28557

Directions: From the intersection of NC Highway 24 and NC Highway 70, go east 2.2 miles on Highway 70, toward downtown Morehead City. Turn right on Banks Street (just after Colony Tire) and continue straight toward the water. The CMAST Building is the waterfront, 4-story, brick building. If you miss Banks Street, you can take the next right and circle through the college.
