This week saw 2 shock results for the two top teams, Morley and Princeville B. Morley were beaten by Conservative Club B and similarly, Princeville B were beaten by the same score by their close colleagues Princeville A, who have now hit a rich vein of form. Gareth Kershaw was the only winner for Princeville B, but with good wins by Nigel Stebbings, Dave Bowers and Peter Turner; Princeville A forced themselves into 4th place.
The re-arranged match between Morley and Pudsey Conservatives A also resulted in a defeat for Morley by 3-2 last week. However, because all the teams immediately below them have also been losing, they find themselves still at the top by 2 points. Their lead could be precarious though as they have played at least 1 more match than anyone else.
