I have kept dutch rabbits as pets for the last 23 years  and 20 years ago had our first litter of dutch rabbits.

Today with my children we are breeding dutch rabbits and have 8 dutch rabbits in a variety of colours.

We currently have breeding a black doe, yellow doe,  steel/black doe and a black/steel buck,Black buck, Agouti buck. you can meet our rabbits on the meet our rabbits page.

Our dutch rabbits are handled every day and get plenty of exercise they are all given the freedom to rome and play happily together apart from the buck that is excersised on his own.

We are happy to put you on a waiting list if you would like a certain colour of dutch rabbit and we take reservations for baby rabbits from around 2 weeks old for a £5 non-refundable depoist.

Dutch rabbits have a lifespan of around 6 years but they may live for a lot longer, one of my first rabbits a yellow unmated doe lived to be 13.

Rabbits can happily live indoors or outside, for an indoor rabbit i recommend a cage no smaller then 100cm in width for a single rabbit and an 120cm for a pair of rabbits.  Outdoor rabbits a cage of around 3ft wide and 2ft high.

A run is a good idea one that is attached to the house are a good idea as it gives the rabbit freedom to choose indoors or outside,

there are a wide range of toys available for rabbits but they do really love tunnels as it is like running through a burrow.
