Studying Abroad Bio

     My name is Lawrence Gann and I am a recent study abroad returnee.  I studied abroad on the University of California/Irvine Education Abroad Program.  I was in Shanghai China from late June 2006 to late December 2006.  The specific program that I attended was the fall quarter Joint Center of International Studies program hosted by Fudan University with a summer quarter optional Intense Language Program hosted by East China University; both located in Shanghai China.  When I was preparing to studying abroad, there was an abundant amount of information that I was seeking that I could not find online or at my universities study abroad center.  Therefore I have created this website with information on my personal experiences in hopes that many of your questions will be answered.

     Within this website and its table of contents, information from pre-departure to post-arrival can be found.  This information ranges from advice on what to bring, the temperature, transportation, the universities, travelling while abroad, and so on.  All this information is also documented with photos that can be viewed through the links located on each page.
