These pictures were taken when Midir first came home in April 2002.  This was his makeshift bed, a clean litter box with a towel sprinkled in cat nip ... he loved it.

Midir has conquered the vacuum cleaner cord!  He was only 9 lbs 9oz in this picture, but the little piggie wouldn't stay that way for long ... he quickly out grew Etain.

Midir begins his habit of jumping into your chair to sleep as soon as you stand up ... if only he wasn't so darn cute, I'd make him move.

          January 2003

Midir finally shows some curiosity about the camera that's always in his face.

Midir's favorite resting place in the new house ... on top of the kitchen cabinets.  Look at him posing for the camera, what a little ham.

I have no clue what he was staring at ... but I did tell you, he spends a lot of time up there, probably daydreaming about mice and birds.

 

          November 2002

I call this "basking in the glow of the refridgerator".  Midir has many quirky behaviors that make me wonder about his sanity ... this is one of them.  Every time you open the refridgerator, without fail, he comes running from where ever he is in the house.  The only variance is whether he slides accross the kitchen floor on his side to "arrive" in front of the fridge, or whether he walks up to it and start sniffing around inside for something to eat.  As you can tell from his tummy, he thinks about eating a lot.

Midir enjoys hanging out in the cabinet and looking down on me while I wash the dishes.
