She's starting to put on a little weight... Her brand new collar had to be trimmed and have new holes put in it, and it was still too big.

The first time I walked into my bedroom to find that Princess had taken over my bed and left no room for me.

 

And then she did the same thing to the sofa.

    

          Strange behavior

When I realized that Etain loves to have her tummy rubbed more than anything, I knew she was an ususual cat.  This is how she begs for a tummy rub, and is generally preceeded by her running into a room ahead of you and throwing herself on the floor at your feet.  Though in recent years she has learned that she doesn't have to beg for the royal treatment, or go out of her way, a truly magnificent cat will make the humans come to her.

Curiosity isn't a strange trait in most cats, but in Etain's case, it makes me wonder when pigs started flying ...

I believe crumpling wrapping paper encouraged Etain to descend from her usual perch on the back of the sofa.

Princess likes her blankets just so ... I walked into the bedroom one afternoon to find that she had gone to great lengths to make herself a cozy little nest.

It simply does not get any cuter than this...
