Crikey! Dyslexic Seven emerged when a powerfull war started to corrupt people around them, in their home country of Uzbakakakakastan. In an attempt to rebel, these three couragous young men formed an alliance, stronger together so they could fight the power. They failed, hopelessly and have become the new biggest coporate sell out ever, they are stinking rich and all live in big houses and drink wine and eat prawns, everyday. Now through bizzare twist of fate they find themselves in Ipswich, at shows they usually get harrased off stage by angry mobs, and then they get slagged off on the internet. It's really that simple! Until along came PUREVOLUME, a voice for the people and a way to speak out, this meant anybody could create music and host it to the masses, Dyslexic Seven were totally fucked now. So, were forced to go into a studio to record some of their poor excuses for songs. They recorded a CD called 'Bigger Than Jesus' a vein atempt at comedy, a few cringingly painful weeks later and here we are.

Hello there!! We've got a lovely new site for you peoples to looks at. If you like it or just wana bitch about us, head over to the FORUM and bitch about us. So we've been mooching around, playing a few gigs. The 5th of May saw us play in colchester with many bands, most of which where utter Shite, but we had a great time and gave it our all. Twas all good!! Apart from gigging we've been booking dates around the place, nothing new really, We managed to get ourselves a place in this years 'Permission2Rock' which will be one at the Corn Exchange on 1st July, which will be rather funny!! We've got some other new dates coming up aswell, check out the 'gigs' page for those. We'll have the photos up from the colchester gig as soon as we get them. OK so we've been offline for quite sometime now, and you may think thats becasue we're doing something new and exiting, well your wrong. we dunno what happend. this internet is evil and all that. so yeah we're back, same old site! Hey there! just a small update...Had real fun at our gig on 2nd oct, Tsunami surfer are feckin' ace! (wang) and Thank You Peercy are great! so yeah we had a wicked night, huage thanks to all the people who came to see us! was nice to see the steamboat packed out! remember to come see us there in november when we headline! It's only 11 days till Jon Boys b day! wooo happy days, Leftover Crack are back in england in november so we're guna go pop up to that to see them again, and next week were off to see the futureheads. all good fun!

New gig added, check out the gigs bit to see when it is etc..thats pretty cool huh! not much to report, thestart of a new month. can't belive its september already! it looks like the summer sun has come a it late, which is nice! and not nice at the same time, it's already started to get dark early so winter is on it's way. which is crap. wots good about the winter??
With 4 gigs now lined up things are lookin' good. just have to hope eves doesent go throw himself off his bike again :P. Lots of good bands are playing including a GLC you knows it safe safe safe!
The Whiteheart Weekender is only a couple weeks away, looking foward to that. had a good time when we went there to see Red Flagg, the support was...funny. Should be a laugh though.

Woah doesent time fly when you're board! NO, but it does when u update silly websites, so it's time for a new news page, how exiting. gone for the "pink" look today. kind refreshing. some new gigs been put up, the most recent being our headlineing show at the steamboat in november, should be fun. Right now half the population are in reading and i'm stuck in ipswich, yay for me. AHH!
The "pics" section has been modified and so had Jon Boy's profile, slighty changed, nothing fancy though...So the summers coming to an end and well it's not been a very good one lets be honest, all it seems to have done is rain and rain and rain some more. Erm yeh like news...hmmm....well we have another gig were headlining the all ages show at the steamboat on november 19th wit tornado smith and all or none so come along and show your support, we were asked dont you know! Currently in the process of bidding on pa's on ebay but funds are limited! wow the news is actually getting less frequent and shorter! haha, thats coz there is nout to report... we've got no gigs again! poo, and err a new song but thats it really. Last band practice we dressed up and all played the drums and once, thats the effect of being in Dyslexic VII! We've been asked to play in September as part of a Punk weekender at the saxmundem White Heart which is pretty cool. Come down and camp out for both days. thas what i wana do! wooo. "i get along just singin' my song, people tell me i'm wrong.....Fuck 'em" Yay for the Libertines, my musicalness being obviously influenced by those who i hang out with...(not mentioning and names (Ed, oops))

Everything has gone from top to bottom now for us...Eves has busted his shoulder meaning he is out of action for 8 weeks, BUT as we didnt want to disapoint our 0 fans ('rey!) we managed to rope "Greg" from band "Fat Jarrold", our freinds, into drumming for us for the gigs which eves cannot play in. so with that i wana say get well soon to Eves and a big thanx to Greg to agreeing to filling his huage boots on stage with us. We know it wont be, or sound, the same but its better than nout! Eves will definately miss the Battle of the Bands at Ipswich High School on the 26th but may be back in time for "music On ThE Green" we'll just have to wait and see

Well with the end of our exams it looks like we got a lot of shows coming up! you know what that means right................a lot of dancing!! wahoo. Played at the Band Box last night with Yell For Trial, the night left me with one conclusion Yell For Trial rock! they played an awesome set, was impressive! shame there was few people to see it but hey! we where in Felixtowe!

Hey new gig! with Magoo and secret Hairdresser...never played with 'em before so should be pretty cool. we sent away an aplication form to the "permission to rock" thingy...fingers crossed! but yeah what happens if we dont get permission! then we'll start playin jazz. apart from that not much to report really. lots of gigs comin in which is really cool. i was happy...until work called me.....ahhwell.

Hey!! just got back from playing a gigi with the not katies...just wana say a HUAGE thanks to the not katies and One:day:life for being such decent blokes and letting us play a good set for them! it was an awsome night and it ment a lot to us!! more gigs like that please!!....sorry folks for not telling u bout it..but we foud out about it 2 hours before hand,.....thanks to everybody who came down and to the not katies for dedicating a song to us! we got a song by a signed band dedicated to us...how cool is that!! hehehe, so yeah awsome. :) . erm, the other gigs are going ahead. the 1 on the 2nd of august is being moved to the 9th, no real other news apart from that really.
go see the not katies in london...coz they are really nice guys! erm we got a new song in the pipeline and sewelly's gettin' broadband soon so he can put video's and more songs up on the site for u sucka's to download.....wahooo.

As most of you will know, Jon Smells, but on more important info we have been asked to possibly play with Mandown, and Knee Deep at the premier pool club on the 19th March, tickets are selling fast!(ha, joke!). So come along the more the merrier!

There seems very little to talk about. We recieved a letter from house hold records, but it was an unsuccesfull atempt. Ive just sent our demo to some local prmoter so fingers crossed i geuss. X mas has just passed and with talk of some new amps spirits are high! a new song was written called stingy cop...tis very good! we still got no gigs unfortunately...Theres a new pic of eves just up in the "pictues" sectin so go have a lil look at that! apart from that not much has happen in the 15 days that have passed so on that note...

Hey! Were guna be on the......radio radio radio. thats cool! haha, hopefully somthing will come out of it. Yip Played the drum and monkey...smallest turn out yet but never mind hey. We need more gigs!! Our recording has gone well so far...weve got 4 tracks finished almost..and 1 more to do for our Demo CD which will be available shortly...then Early Next year hopefully a 12 track "album" should be abvailible. Thats if all goes to plan ofcourse.....whci it probably wont...

Looks like all systems are go for the drum and monkey gig! hoorah! weve got support from Out of Proportion and Charlie's Absence hopefully. but yeah all kicks off at about 7pm...so we'll c u there!! its only £2 on the door which is well good!
Recorded 4 tracks on monday and were guna do a 12 track CD and a 5 track promo, should all be available shortly so stay tuned!!

hey! woo. erm everything is canceled, doesent look like were guna play the drum and monkey gig anymore, and the gig on the 22nd has been called off...yet again. ohwell.....on a lighter note...i got my casualties tickets!! the casuaualties are finaly playing london :) c u there! Dropkick murpheys are playing at the astoria early next year too. i'll see you there. Hey! umm, not much has changed since the first thing, erm, yeah. another lunch time at KHS woooo. The gig on the 22nd has been moved back yet again, im doubting it ever happening at all...nevermind only a red hot chili peppers cover band... tra lalalalala.
Should get some recording done on monday, guna record a four track demo cd and send it around. book us! book us now! we need gigs that are guna hapopen....promotion for drum and monkey gig has to start soon.

Hey! It's the band here...well two of us. Not much to write about really, creating our new website, it's not very good yet...but it will be! muhahaha, whinney seems to have some kind of male genatalia obsession at the moment...scary! had a band practice yesterday went well.
The gig in waldringfield might be pospoened yet again, which sucks. and to make things worse eves was having second thoughts about the drum and monkey gig.
Sewell has done a great job on the site! hooray for sewell!
Please put somthing in our message board, we shoul dhave some Mp3's and video's up soon so you can have a listen. Awsome! Stay tuned fella's!
