In 1978, after several years of construction and
managing job sites for a well-known developer on the
east coast David Durr went on his own as an owner
builder while simultaneously working as a
mechanical/manufacturing engineering consultant.
Moving to California in June of 1979, David continued to
build/remodel homes as an owner builder.

In March 2002, David partnered with a local contractor
to form a corporation, Invision Designs & Construction,
Inc. (IDC) to focus primarily on residential and
commercial design and construction projects. David Durr
received his General Contractors license and assumed
the position of Responsible Managing Officer (RMO) for
the corporation and is the primary contact for the
California State Licensee Control Board.

Also in 2002, Spenser Vieira joined IDC as our Chief
Designer for the firm. Spencer's background of
architectural design and creativity gives him an eye for
detail which allows him to understand the needs of our
clients. He brings over 15 years of experience and hard
work to the drawing table for each of our clients every
day.

David's background of manufacturing and mechanical
engineering, corporate operational management and over
28 years of commercial and residential construction and
planning provide the foundation for evaluating
commercial projects not just from a general contractors
perspective but from a practical users perspective as
well.
