Alright, well I've played online games for quite some time now, and there's quite a story behind all of it. I started out as a young novice, and now I have evolved into a 1337 uber pwner There were up's...and downs...and many different turns along the way. Here is my story:
I first downloaded the Rainbox Six 3: Ravenshield Demo from the Fileplanet Program I had on my computer, and started playing that like my life depended on it. There was only 2 maps in the demo, (MP)Streets and (MP)Prison. I played that, and got decent in the demo, and joined a couple clans, because, at that young age, I thought I was the man being in a clan. After a while, Jordan Babcock, aka BaBs, starting gaming with me quite frequently at my household, and he became quite fond of the game. Considering he had an old Gateway computer that could barely run Solitare, he talked his parents into buying a new computer, and he too started in the gaming community. I recieved the full version of Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield on my birthday, and Jordan had his new computer and the full version, and we were ready to compete.
When I got the retail version, I played it all the time. I switched my in-game name many times, trying to find the name that fit me the most. After hopping around some bad, inactive clans, I fell into the hands of |SGS| aka Silent Green Soldiers. This was my first actual active and competitive clan, and I was very excited. My name was PyKTo, which many people in the RVS (Ravenshield) community still know me as. |SGS| was very competitive, and I made some good friends from that clan.
But, after a few months of good gaming and competition with |SGS|, they decided to cut some members, and make SGS and elite, small clan. Unfortunately, I was one of the six or seven people that got cut. So again, I was stuck without a clan. To tell you the truth, I was sort of heart-broken, because SGS was my first real clan. But after a week or so, I got back on RVS, and searched for a new clan.
Luckily, a few weeks after my dismissal from SGS, I ran into a young man named -)X(-ToriNo, and we talked, and I was fortunately recruited into the great clan of -eXtreMe-. I was a part of -)X(- during most of their RVS days, and joined Extreme Clan just a little over a month from when the clan was created. But, even though the clan was great, I thought I could make my own clan, and left with BaBs. to see if we could create our own competitive clan.
Big mistake. We couldn't raise enough funds, or enough people to join, so we had to give up. ToriNo warned us that it was hard, but we overlooked him. So, here comes PyKTo, now known as SwiFtY, crawling back to ExTreMe Clan for a second chance. And, the good man that he is, ToriNo let me back in, bless his heart. I gamed with them all through the RVS days, and never left again.
Now, after a little while, many people in the clan lost interest in RVS, considering we were top competitors in TWL, so, because of this, many members started playing other online games, like Counterstrike:Source, with me being one of the first clan members to get the game. Practically the whole clan switched to CS:S, and after a long, hard, and competitive career, the Ravenshield Division of Extreme Clan was let go. But we will never forget what brought us to this point in X, and we will always remember the beloved RVS days.
Now, I am still in Extreme Clan, known as eXtreMe| WaTs ^, and I am the co-leader of the CS:S divison, and the leader of the Enemy Territory Division. Once I get my new computer built, I will be competing in Day of Defeat: Source, which I am very excited for. Online gaming is a big hobby of mine, and I will continue to participate in it. We are moving to Cal for CS:S, and I am looking forward to that.
If you read all this, bravo, go eat a cookie
