Good afternoon everyone! I found some really cute smilies for my site, they're from Beccary.com.

I'm home early today because on Wednesdays Year 11's get half a day off. It's very cool. Next week though, I will be starting my traineeship! I'm very excited. I'm a little worried I won't like it, but I'm sure I will. The pay is great, and it's only for one day a week. The only problem is, it's for at least seven hours, which is longer than school hours. I'm afraid I'll get bored.

I just came back from Brookside, where I was trying to find some clothes for work. There were no white shirts my size at Target, and they were all frilly too. So we bought a nice chocolate brown three-quarter shirt, but there were no pants that suited it. I like the fashions out now, they're really nice. Except for the frilly white shirts of course.

I also went to the newsagent to buy some new pens for school, and I decided to have a look at the 'Girlfriend' Magazine. And guess who there was a poster of?! Sam and Dean from 'Supernatural'! That definately made me want to buy it. I love 'Supernatural', especially Dean.

Oh! I may be getting a host finally! I'll be glad to get off Freewebs, because they don't support PHP and I really want to learn it.

At Youth Group on Saturday, we had an all-nighter, which is another word for a sleepover. It was a lot of fun, but I only got four hours sleep. I'm still trying to catch up on sleep. The best part was when I was playing ping-pong with Mitch and some other guys.

Well I think that's been happening lately, my life is slowly getting better again. This weekend me and some of the girls are going over to Megan's house to watch some movies and eat pizza, because it's her birthday tomorrow. It'll be lots of fun.

Jess.

Wow! So much has happened this week! First of all though, I made a new layout. Isn't it beautiful? I'm really proud of it :D. It took me all of Friday afternoon to make, but I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I'm slowly getting better at Photoshop, and I even managed to make a CSS page, with my font codes on it, so I won't have to change all of my pages. I really want to learn PHP, but unfortunately, it's completely beyond me. I'd also love to have Wordpress, but I need PHP for that :(.

I suppose it all started on Tuesday, Period 1, in Maths. My teacher, Mr Musumechi (or Mr Mus) was reading out the notices of the day, and one of them was advertising a Business Traineeship for a Secretary at Ferny Grove Primary School. I still hadn't heard back from the Physiotherapy, but I was feeling impulsive again, so I decided to go see Ms Ross-Smith, our guidance officer. She said that I could have an interview the next day! It was with the people who organise traineeships with schools, and I went pretty well. I wasn't that nervous, and they were very nice. They said that they would be happy to allow me to go for another interview sometime this week, with the people from the school. There were only two other girls in my grade who applied for the traineeship, so there wasn't much competition. On Thursday, Ms Ross-Smith came to my Maths class and told me that the interview would be on Friday at the school, at 10:00am. She said I would have to come and see her before school so that she could tell me some things about interviews.

So, on Friday morning, I went up to the school (it's only up the road from my high school), with Kathryn, the other girl to have the interview. I was pretty nervous by now, because I couldn't imagine me getting the job. The interview went fairly well, they asked me questions and I think they liked the answers I gave them. The only one I got wrong was when they asked me what I would do if they gave me a large amount of papers to do. I said "Um...do them?", but I was supposed to find out which were the most important first.

In Maths again, at 2:00pm on Friday afternoon, Ms Ross-Smith came in again and said to me "Congratulations, you now have a job!". I was kind of surprised, and I just said "Really?". I start in two weeks, and I have to work for seven hours on a Wednesday, so I miss out on half a day of school. The pay is really good, it's about $10.80 AUS an hour, so I'll earn about $75.60 AUS a day! That's excellent :D. It all happened so fast, I applied for a job on Tuesday, and by Friday, I had one! I can't wait to start.

Tonight is a all-nighter at Youth Group. I need to go have a shower to be ready in time. I hope this week is fun, the past few have been sort of crappy.

Love Jess.
