International Dances of Universal Peace Camp

organised by the Latvian DUP Network

♥ When:   13th - 19th July 2009

♥ Where:  

Camp site "Vecupe", 80 km north-west of Riga (Latvia),  along the  coast road B128.       3 km after Engure turn to the left at the sign "Vecupe" . Sandra Sunfire (Wales, UK) has been teaching Dances of Universal Peace for 12 years in her local circle at Derwenlas in Wales (myweb.tiscali.co.uk/dupderwenlas ).

Silje (Estonia) The Dances, which Silje leads in a simple but deep way, are coming from her heart and  are filling the souls with the fragrance of love and harmony.

Musallam (Latvia) is leading Sufi whirling, dynamic meditations and spontaneous dancing, which allows to connect with the centre of our individual emptiness, to understand who you really are. “To go along your life in joy, dancing and recognizing the oneness of all existence. Participating in the DUP gives me a possibility to live through the Mystery of the oneness of the connected hearts.”

There is a HIGH POSSIBILITY, that
James Burges (UK), a legendary teacher, who brought DUP to Latvia and who organised the first Latvian camp in 1995,  will come to the camp and  lead a DUP session on the weekend. Welcome!

 Prem and Sally (New Zealand), whom we remember and love from last year's camp, are going to attend our Latvian camp this year again. We look forward to  a session of Maori Dances with them!

♥ Camp tickets:

The ticket price includes the daily programme (see Camp Programme),  three vegetarian meals a day, either living in huts on site (2 or 4 beds per room, bedding provided) or camping in your own tent (payment per person), also using all the camp site facilities like hot showers, toilets and playgrounds. The use of the sauna for a group of people can be arranged for the separate payment.

Price of the ticket (tent / room) per person: 

Adults (over 18): 140 Euro / 170 Euro

Children and teenagers (7-18 years): 86 Euro / 120 Euro

Children under 7 years: free (if sleeping together and sharing meals with a parent)

For the weekend (18/19 July) only: 50 Euro/ 65 Euro
