Dunwurkn Border Collies

Bred for Quality and Temperament

Faithet Woody Willow

Aka - Focus

Focus was born on the 6/9/2007 at Faithet Border Collies, South Grafton NSW... I thank Coral Higham for allowing this beautiful boy to be the latest addition to my ever growing family...

Focus is a sweet natured boy, he has natural talent for herding and showed me this at 4 1/2 mths of age when i first introduced him to sheep... he is doing well and is something we will definetly be continuing as he grows... Focus will also be training for Agility and Canine Disc and at 8 mths of age is doing very well...

AGILITY

Focus started his training in agility shortly after arriving home and settling in, we have been working on his play drive as well as his sit stay, rear end awarness ex, and other foundation games which will help develop his learning and one day hopefully make him love agility as much as my other dogs do...

CANINE DISC

Focus started his Canine Disc training at about 4mths of age, learning to chase and retrieve sliders and rollers, he loves to get a disc and run around with it in his mouth so we have been working with two discs to build a better retrieve...

HERDING

Focus was first introduced to sheep at 4 1/2 months of age, he watched and studied them at first but after a few minutes his instincts kicked in and he was having a great time learning to play with sheep ... a few months on and we have started teaching him his side and stop commands.... he is doing well more exposure with sheep is what we need but it is difficult as they are 2 hrs drive away...
