Dunwurkn Border Collies

Here at Dunwurkn we will always strive to produce quality dogs for quality homes, specializing in breeding performance dogs for performance sports.

I have owned and trained many different types of dogs for over 16years and first fell in love with Border Collies 7yrs ago when my first BC a Black/White male - Buddy, almost Eight now came to me as a rescue dog and hence started my love of the breed, when Buddy was 3 yrs old i decided that another of this fabulous breed could fit into my household, this time i decided that a pedigree BC was what i wanted as i had become involved with competition Agility and was training in Flyball and Obedience and had learnt enough to realise the benefits of owning pedigree dogs, so i embarked on a two year journey of searching for another Border Collie...

Finally in January 2005 Coco (Wottapud Roki Road) came into my life bred from Wottapud Kennels in Gympie QLD, Coco is a highly driven Choc/White Female who currently enjoys training and competing in various dog sports such as, Agility, Flyball, Frisbee, and has also started herding training.  Coco is my foundation bitch and the reason i have decided to embark on breeding these beautiful canines. Her motivation to work and her extreme ability for dog sports makes me just love the breed all the more. 

In July 2006 my second  Bitch GT (Borderiver Gin and Tonic) came into our lives, bred at Borderiver Kennels in Morayfield QLD. GT a Black/White Female although not as highly driven to work as Coco will also be training and competing in the various Dog Sports just like Coco and Buddy and is growing up to be a very impressionable girl and is showing a lot of potential.

November 2007 seen yet another addition to my ever growing family with the introduction of Focus (Faithet Woody Willow) a Chocolate Merle Tri Colour Boy, he has a very sweet nature and is showing to have a good amount of the drive needed for Dog Sports...We have already introduced him to Sheep at 5 months and his instincts have kicked in... Once he grows he will be available at Stud to approved bitches...

All of my dogs/puppies are bought up in a family environment living inside or outside the house, all puppies will be whelped inside not in kennels, and socialized with children and other dogs before going into their new homes
