DUNOON ARGYLL PIPE BAND - 2008
Here is this year's competing band, who will play in Grade 4B. Here's hoping for a season of good performances, great weather, and a few prizes too (we hope!)
Cheer up troops - it's not raining this year - yet! This was at the march past at Gourock, where the band won grade 4. What a difference a trophy can make!!
Meet our drum corps, minus our bass player..plus 2 pipers, one at each end! Now where are those pipers??!!
Ah, Dumbarton Rock looks grand in the background. Our Irish guest (with the jacket on) doesn't seem to be as hardy as us Scots! This was a good day weatherwise Des! If you want to play with us, you need to get acclimatized! We even do rain! The pipers came 3rd overall at the Scottish Championships, with the band being placed 6th overall. A great start to the season.
