Saturday 21st November - East Midland Counties League - Ellistown 1-1 Dunkirk

Dunkirk made the trip to Ellistown looking to continued their title push and in terrible wet and windy conditions they though they had the game wrapped up when Shannon Grant ran on to Brady's throughball in the 50th minute to cooly slide the ball past the goalkeeper to put them into the lead. Ellistown though were coping better with the conditions and only a brilliant diving saved from Dunkirk goalkeeper Ivanov denied them when he tipped Timms long range effort onto the post. Ellistown though did get the equaliser they were craving when in the 75th Carl Eagling was on hand to stroke the ball home from close range after the ball came in from the right side. Both sides had further chances to snatch the points but it was Dunkirk who left Leicester feeling that 2 points had been thrown away.
