Dungeness Rabbitry

Sequim, Washington

Raising Nationally Competitive Netherland Dwarfs and Mini Rex

We are located in Northwestern part of Washington State in Sequim--the Lavendar Capitol of the U.S.A.  Our rabbitry is managed by a mother-daughter operation with the help of Grandma and Grandpa.  We have about 80 holes with about 70 percent dwarf and 30 percent mini rex.  We attended our first Convention in 2007 and what an experience that was.  Our dwarfs did very well with several top 5 finishes in stiff competition.

I've been raising dwarfs since 2001.  I raise blacks, blues, ruby eyed whites, chocolates, lilacs, opals, chestnuts, and otters (in all colors).  While I don't get to attend nationals and convention very often, I am always impressed by how well our dwarfs do against some of the best dwarfs in the country.

Amber just started her Mini Rex project in 2007.  She is just developing her own line of black, blue, and chocolate otters, broken blacks, blacks, and chocolates.  Those are her favorite colors.
