Ginger was born in July 2007, just before Independence Day. I was impressed with this little sable merle girl, along with her tri brother and blue merle sister. So instead of just keeping one, I ended up keeping three. OMG, was I nuts…three pups from one litter. As the months wore on Ginger was showing more and more potential, but there wasn’t much of her. So that got me thinking back to what her sire and dam looked like when they were young. Both didn’t have much substance at a young age, but did develop as they grew older. And she was showing a lot of promise of following in her sire’s footsteps in the show ring. Ginger is a sweet thing, full of life and hope. She is very smart and is so willing to please. I have high hopes that if she does stay at Dune Collies that she will bring me the same pleasure that her sire did in the ring.
