October 08
18th October Rayjan demelza foaled an extreme chestnut colt with 4 socks and a blaze by CRA Sihr Shahrif +usa , he has champion written all over him . photos on foal page
13th October Landon Fadirah foaled my first coloured foal , a beautifully marked bay and white Tobiano colt by Brewed Too Hot .He is huge and loves to flash his white tail every where , he is a very special boy !!!
11th October Pinelodge Opium foaled our first ever partbred , a stunning filly ( which looks to be black ) by the Supreme Champion pony stallion Maxwellton Woody Wood Pecker , she looks like a Purebred and will make a top show pony , photos will be added soon on foals page.
4th October I took SS Shadrak to his first 80km endurace ride at Cust , it was not an easy ride with lots of river bed but he coped very well and proved he is going to be a very tough horse , he just gives you everything and he really enjoys it.

28th September I took Willowvale Escapade and SS Shadrak to Hunter for a 40km ride , I was lucky enough to persuade Carmen Tuite my dearest friend to ride SS Shadrak , she decided to show us her circus act at the start of the ride , and she done such a great job( people are still talking about it ) not bad for someone that hasn't ridden for 15 years , so well done Carmen !! . We had a great ride and both horses vetted very well , and Carmen went home for a well deserved drink .

SS Shadrak is working very well , and completed his first endurance ride on the 17 th August , He went like a dream and and just blew me away with his excellent heart rates and his great nature , he will do his next ride at the end of September .

We have sold our lovely show gelding SS Baasha , and we hope his new owner enjoys him as much as I did .
We have been lucky enough to purchase the beautiful Triple National Champion Show Gelding SS Shadrak , who I have been working with and he is being hacked around the roads and just loves it , we have also bought Euralea Excess a rising 2 yr old gelding for endurance later on .

We had some bad news after the NZ Nationals , with HFA Breznir being taken to Christchurch Vet Clinic to have an opperation for a very rare form of cancer , which he had on his face , it appears this cancer can spread through there bones , but we are hoping we have got it in time , he is now retired from the show ring and will just be used for a plodder around home , and my 3 yr old daughter loves to ride him now and then .
We sold the last of our D' Amors Abdulla foals and this filly has gone to a great show home , and we wish them all the best.
Willowvale Escape done his first 40 km endurance ride at Herbert at the end of April and boy was he competitive , he worked very well and we where pleased with his heart rates and the way he felt after the ride , so I am looking forward to doing some more with him.

February was a very busy month for us , we took 3 horses down to Dunedin for the South Island Champs , we meet up with Silvio and Kristin Galea from Australia who where to show our horses , they showed D'Amors Abdulla for South Island Champion Stallion and he also went Supreme Male , they showed SS Baasha for Reserve Champion Junior Champion and Kristin rode HFA Breznir for South Island Champion Ridden , he also got Reserve Led senior Gelding.
This was the start of lots of laughs and fun times to be had with Silvio and Kristin , they stayed at a cottage 2km from home and I am sure they will not forget the river crossings to get there , when the rivers where in flood carrying there groceries and trying to keep as dry as possible , we did let them use our moter bike once ( much to Kristins disguist ), but had to take that off them after they tried to see what would happen if they flattened the dog !!!! All was well and we really had a great time together , thanks to all who helped especially my sister chief cook and babsitter .
So off to the NZ Nationals we all went D'Amors Abdulla got Reserve National Champion Stallion. SS Baasha got Reserve National Champion Junior Gelding , Dundevale Sheez All Klass got Top 5 Filly and HFA Breznir got Top 7 Ridden with Kristin on Board , I would like to thank Silvio and Kristin for all there hard work and there great skills and we look forward to many more great shows together .

Well another year has started , with many new plans in the pipeline.
Willowvale Escapade has been broken to saddle and he is being hacked round the roads , he takes it all in his stride and just loves it. He is a full brother to the very lovely show gelding Willowvale Dhahran owned by Donna Evans.
We had visitors on the 28 th Jan , and they just fell in love with Moneeka Khan's filly and have purchased her , so we wish them all the best . ( photos on the progeny page)
Moneeka Khan and Shakali Khan have both been bred to CRA Sihr Shahrif+usa , We would like to thank Jan and Ray for being kind enough to bring him to our place for these breedings , in which both have been scanned in foal , so we will have a busy season ahead of us .

Rayjan Demelza arrived safe and sound and has been scanned infoal to CRA Sihr Shahrif+usa .
Landon Fadirah has been scanned infoal to Brewed Too Hot+usa , I really look forward to my first coloured foal .
PL Opium has also been scanned infoal to Maxwelton Woody Wood Pecker , which will be our first Partbred , we are hoping that this foal will be small enough for the girls to ride .
We have 2 more mares to scan at the end of December .
Christchurch Royal Show , was a show not to forget this year with the weather being so foul cold winds rain and hail but we carried on as usual . HFA Breznir got 3rd in the led Purebred Gelding and in the afternoon he went Reserve Champion Ridden Arab , so a very good outing.
Saturday 10th November was a busy morning with the foal alarm going off at 4.45am , I was fast to get out there to find D'Amors Moneeka Khan foaling 2 weeks early , a stunning bay going grey filly .
Also on the 10th November after watching her paddock mate foal D'Amors Shakali Khan prompley lay down in front of me and also foaled a very pretty bay going grey filly , We are thrilled with the foals our stallion has produced .

We had our first show of the season with ,HFA Breznir travelling down to the Cromwell Mini Show , we had a very exciting weekend as we had entered all classes and as there was jumping as usual I thought well I am sure my boy can do this . He came home with 14 ribbons a trophy and a very nice rug and I was so thrilled as we got a 2nd in the FEI Jumping and a 4th in the Derby Jumping and also was very successful in the Western Pleasure , He was up agains't all the hacks , and I am so pleased he will give anything a go.
We are thrilled to announce the purchase of the beautiful mare Rayjan Demelza who is by Bremervale Pocohontas +au out of Bremervale Tequila+au and she will arrive after being breed to the stunning CRA Sihr Shahrif +usa , we are also going to be breeding our beautiful D Ámors Moneeka Khan to CRA Sihr Shahrif +usa this season .
We have also purchased the very feminine filly PL Opium who is by Bremervale Legacy +au and out of Bremervale Chanel +au she is being breed this season to the Supreme Champion All Breeds Stallion Maxwelton Woody Wood Pecker , who is a part arabian pony stallion and he would have to be one of the nicest ponies I have ever seen.
Foaling news :
Landon Fadirah foaled a very stunning black/brown colt ,Her 4th colt in a row who is by our stallion D'Amors Abdulla , this boy will be grey with no white and has been sold at only 5 days of age , so we wish his new owners all the best for the future . Landon Fadirah is going to be breed to the Homozygous Tobiano Stallion Brewed Too Hot +usa who is 70% TB , I have always wanted a coloured arabian but have never been able to find the right stallion , so I am pleased to have found this sire and look forward to showing the resulting foal in the future. Our other mares are due to foal in November so check back then.

We have been very busy in the last few months with Richard taking on a new job , which means he is only home forو days in a month .
We are coping with the help of our 2 little girls , who seem to think they are helping to do things , but more times than not, they are just making more work , but you have just got to love them . Briah helps lots and I am sure the horses are happy as she seems to put alot more feed in than I do.
On the breeding front , We have 3 mares due this season . All in foal to D'Amors Abdulla , we are looking forward to these babies.
We have sold our beautiful Shara Mors Crystal Rose +au to an excellent show home , and as we own her sire and dam ,we are hoping for a filly to replace her. We have also sold Dundevale Hezza Kracker to an endurance home and wish both these purchasers all the best .
We have purchased the lovely gelding SS Baasha who is by Simeon Shemini +au and out of the beautiful SS Barzani . We Look forward to riding this boy at a later date.
We have also purchased the up standing gelding Willowvale Escapade who is by Eastwinds Axiom+au and out of the lovely mare Cherox Sarita , this guy is amazing and boy can he move , he will be broken in and ridden this season.
Loads of exciting news for Dundevale with the exciting importation of the multi Supreme Champion stallion D'Amors Abdulla. This world class stallion is sired by the Reserve World Champion Stallion Om El Abadan from the beautiful Amira EL Saghira FA. We cannot thank Don and Pat Amor of D'Amors Arabians in Australia for this outstanding opportunity to own a half share in this stunning stallion. Abdulla was shown 13 times last season for 12 championships and 3 Supreme Championships. He has sired some outstanding progeny in Australia and is the sire of our very own Crystal Rose [see mare page for photos].
Foaling news for Dundevale has produced this season a very upstanding colt by Willowvale Picasso [NZ and Aust National Champion] from the beautiful Landon Fadirah. This young man is very upstanding with an amayzing short head and movement to burn.
Shara Mors Crystal Rose foaled a showstopper of a filly also by Willowvale Picasso, this young lady is gorgeous and we are thrilled with her.
D'Amors Moneeka Khan has also foaled a stunning filly to Picasso. This filly is a superb individual and we are very excited with our breeding programme to date.
On the home front I have not been idle myself and gave birth on the 16th of September to a beautiful baby girl. Weighing in at 7lbs and 14 oz. Richard and myself are over the moon with our new baby daughter whom we have named Jade and below is a photo of Jade and her sister Briah who is also very pleased to have a baby sister.
The end to a long show season finished with HFA Breznir taking out a Top 5 award for Senior Geldings at the New Zealand Nationals and Shara Mors Crystal Rose also taking out a Top 5 award in the Mares section. We were incredibly proud of both our horses.
Landon Fadirah was scanned positively in foal to the New Zealand National Champion Stallion and Australian National Champion Colt Willowvale Picasso and she is due to foal at the end of August.
Shara Mors Crystal Rose was also positively scanned in for to Willowvale Picasso and she is due to foal early September.
D'Amors Moneeka Khan was the third mare positively scanned to WIllowvale Picasso and her baby is due in November.
These three foals are all eagerly awaited and all should be spectacular.
Very sadly, D'Amors Shakali Khan lost her foal at 70 days to the New Zealand National Champion Stallion Wind"N"Fire [imp Aust], so will be rebred early next season.
Our other news is this lovely picture of our gorgeous daughter Briah, when she was 8 months old on her very own pony. A new Arabian enthusiast in the making.
