Our mares are the matriachs of Dundevale Arabians, they are our producers and what we want produced into our progeny. These mares were all chosen for their type and beauty, bloodlines and conformation and also with their movement and fantastic natures. All were chosen to be part of our "Ideal Arabian" that we are striving to breed.
Landon Fadirah, bay mare 1997, is a mare of extreme type and beauty, she has the most amazing "in your face" personality and just loves attention, she passes this trait into all of her progeny and is the most wonderful mother to her foals. Landon Fadirah has been a star in the broodmare barn, producing the 2004 New Zealand National Champion Colt, Dundevale Fire N Flare, who has also gone on to win other major awards in the showring. Landon Fadirah is a very consistant producer of her progeny and we look forward to producing some more National Champion progeny with her. Landon Fadirah is a star herself in the showring and some of her major awards are Top 5 New Zealand National Mare 2004 Nationals, Christchurch Arabian Horse Club Reserve Champion Mare 2002, The "A" class Trophy show, Reserve Champion Mare 2002, The South Island Championships, Reserve Champion Mare 2002, and also the 2002 New Zealand Nationals, where L. Fadirah took out a Top 5 Mare award, these are only a sprinkling of wins this lovely mare has had, but for now, she will concentrate on motherhood. Landon Fadirah is sired by the 1998 New Zealand National Champion Stallion Simeon Sadir [imp Aust/exp UK] and from the beautiful Landon Fadana.

Another one of our stunning mares is the 1993 Chestnut D'Amors Shakali Khan [imp Aust], sired by the fantastic SK Shakla Khan from the legendary Amir El Shaklan mare Pasquinell Shakira, thus giving this mare a double crossing of El Shaklan bloodlines. D'Amors Shakali Khan has the sweetest of natures along with beautiful type and presence and it was these attributes that helped us decide to purchase her. Also passing on these traits to her progeny, it wasn't a hard decision to decide to puchase Shakali's daughter at the same time and she has also made New Zealand her home. D'Amors Shakali Khan has won Reserve Champion Filly at the prestigeous Queensland Challenge show and also won the Classic Head class at the same show. It is hoped to breed some high quality progeny from D'Amors Shakali Khan here at Dundevale Arabians and we look forward to the future with great anticipation.

D'Amors Moneeka Khan [pictured below] born in 1999, this stunning mare is sired by D'Amors Montabi Khan form the wonderful D'Amors Maaritza Khan who has won a National Champion under Saddle Title at the 2005 Australian Nationals. Saturated in El Shaklan bloodlines on both sides of her pedigree, D'Amors Moneeka Khan has only had one show in her lifetime for a Top 5 placing at the prestigeous Queensland Challenge show in 2002 in Australia. It was intended to show this beautiful mare here in New Zealand, but sadly on her trip across the Tasman , an accident occured and two bones were broken in one of her legs , hence although it is very unfortunate that we cannot show D'Amors Moneeka Khan, we are extremely lucky for her to be able to still breed for us. D'Amors Moneeka Khan has one progeny in Australia who has been shown for a Champion or Reserve placing at every outing. We are sure this lovely mare will breed something special for Dundevale Arabians, as with her sweetest of temperaments and her people loving nature as well as her bloodlines and beauty, the future looks good for D'Amors Moneeka Khan. If you ever get the chance to visit our stud, bring some lollies in your pockets, as Moneeka loves them.
