Color Me Super was purchased from my local veterinarian. She has had several foals for him, but only three were registered. She has been bred to a QH stallion for the past 6 years and has produced 5 colored foals and only one listed with the ApHC as non characteristic. Super has not been shown and most likely will not be shown due to a pasture accident 4 years ago that cost her an eye. Her sire is a world and national champion producing stallion and her dam was also by a world and national champion stallion. I'm hoping her next foal will be at least a point earner.
I took Super to a cowboy mounted shooting clinic and she did great! The photo above was taken after a day of loud noises, ballons popping and 45 caliber pistols being shot off. We are now both in training to compete in mounted shooting events in the coming years. We have been practicing even more and here are a few photos ( below) from our first offical club practice. We are currently affiliated with SASS and the Rio Grande Mounted Rustlers Club from Los Lunas New Mexico.

Topper is a red dun filly who is registered with ApHC and the Colorado Ranger Horse Association. Topper was purchased through the fine folks at Outlaw Appaloosas in Iowa. Thanks to Crystal Kiesau for putting up with all my questions and request for various information. Topper is now in training and doing very well soon we hope be competitive at cowboy mounted shooting events.
Northstar Ladybug was purchased from the fine folks over in Minnesota at NorthStar Appaloosas Ladybug's Family History. This is a PDF file and might take a bit of time to load. Thanks to Kyle and Sue Magnuson who produced this file and sent it to me to help answer my questions about the lovely Ladybug. They have also graciously allowed my to use this file on my website. Ladybug is my next endurance prospect. I believe she will do well and be very competitive in both endurance and competitive trail events. Her training is progressing remarkably well. She is kind and responsive and easy to handle. I really love her attitude. She will do well on the trails.
Hobo's Dream Girl ApHC
This baby was purchased because of a dream. In Feb 2007, I lost my old gelding Hobo whom I'd owned for 23 years. In March, two days after this baby was born I had a dream about her. She is named in honor of my old gelding Hobo.
