7:30 - 9 p.m.          Free tour of Dan Gable International Wrestling Museum  (at 303 Jefferson St., just                                     one block west of Convention Center) **Cancelled -- See Update on Home page**

6:00 - 9:30 p.m.      Friday'loo Outdoor Concert Series featuring Orquesta Alto Maiz. at Lincoln Park. Ramada Hotel guests may take the free shuttle to and from the event. Food and beverage vendors will be present! No charge.

9 a.m. - 4 p.m.               Dan Gable International Wrestling Institute & Museum display of artifacts saved from the floods 

11 a.m. - 12 a.m.    Tarzan comic strip artwork, an analysis, chaired by Jack Bender,   

                           artist for the  nationally-syndicated comic strip Alley Oop and a longtime Tarzan

                           comic collector.

4 p.m.- 6 p.m.      Annual Burroughs Bibliophiles Auction—Room 24/25

ALL DAY OPTIONS:

*Dan Gable Wrestling Museum—Open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Mike Chapman, Executive Director of the Museum, would love for Tarzan attendees to visit.  Today the museum boasts over 600 displays as it takes visitors through the history of wrestling, from ancient Greece through the present day Olympics.  The Museum also features a special area that features Tarzan memorabilia.  www.wrestlingmuseum.org  phone:  319.233.0745

*Waterloo Center for the Art & Phelps Youth Pavilion--The Waterloo Center for the Arts is a municipal non-profit institution dedicated to fostering community awareness and appreciation of the arts by acquiring, preserving, exhibiting, and interpreting significant works of art.  The Phelps Youth Pavilion is a brand new addition to the Waterloo Center for the Arts.  This children's museum filled with creative, hands-on experiences is like nothing you've ever seen or imagined.  From simple drawing to high-tech adventures, each exhibit encourages curiosity & creativity. *John Deere Tour—Free tours available Monday-Friday at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., and 1 p.m.  1 ½ hour tour that includes a 20 minute video and a 1 hour riding tour.  If you have children in your group, they must be at least 13 years old to attend all tours.  Closed toe and closed heel shows are MANDATORY.  Cameras, video equipment, and cell phones are not permitted at any of the facilities.  Reservations are required.  Please call ahead for your reservations:  319-292-7668


*HUCKSTER ROOM:  15 Tables available for $40.  This includes a draped, skirted table, 2 chairs, and 1 wastebasket.  Huckster room will be open from Friday morning through Saturday afternoon (closed and locked each night) for selling, buying and trading ERB books & collectibles.  

*Items purchased at the Dum-Dum 2008 CAN NOT be shipped from the Ramada Hotel.  However, there is a Post Office within 6 blocks of the Convention Center.
