Again may i apologise for the lack of updates recently..........in between Working and helping out with a preservation group, my spare time is virtually a few minutes "there and then" so updates in the future will be limited. The Good News is that, I haven't forgotten you lot at all! I'm still working on a few plans for the main layout but in the mean time, i've been doing a short 2x1 mini layout board and using it mainly for experimenting on techniques and tips picked up along way from various websites and forums. I haven't decided on the name yet although "Abidale Yard" is a contender at the moment, but the main idea is a Network Rail siding which can provide wagons with Ballast when needed in a small urban town district in the South West.
Also a new purchase in a Vitrains Class 37, 37427 "Bont y Bermo" has been added to the fleet and a few of the existing will be offered for sale in due course to fund new and better purchases.......;
Lima Class 47 - Intercity Livery and maybe the Bachmann class 08 800 - intercity livery or a swap for a EWS version......

Its only me........,
Over the last week i've put in an order for the track needed to create the layout which i hope will be enough to at least get the main track design down. The plan is to get the track down and wired for when the special "guest" arrives and hopefully will make a start on the scenery side of things but the aim is to definately get the track wired at least. I'm still having a think of how the Locos will enter the layout from the Transverser/fiddle yard either through a scenic break or a cutting in the backscene board, i got some sort of idea but whether or not it will work is another thing.

Hello Guys, After many months out of the scene i've returned and with the new draft plan drawn up, i'm ready to start again. The new plan can be found on the Layout Plan page and construction is due to take place within a few weeks once i get some time off.
