Layout is under Re-Construction - 2 5ft by 2ft Module boards which will enable for easier transportation and Storage and when bolted together, Total combined length of 10ft by 2ft with 1ft fiddle yard board.

Duffryn Road TMD is a fictitious location situated between Bridgend and Cardiff on the South Wales Main Line. It does have similarities to Margam Depot but with added features to "use up the space" to its full advantage.

The previous layout had a small 2 road TMD which carries out regular D Exams and services on surplus loco's from Nearby Margam Depot or the previously owned Cardiff Canton.

Currently the TMD is owned by EWS amongst speculation of a takeover but occasionally receives services from other TOCs for various exams or for overnight storage prior to any railtours that may be working in the area. Amongst the storage lines, the depots resident Breakdown crane and equipment are stored ready for any action that might take place.

The new layout will feature the following although things may change during construction.  It will have a 2 Road Depot able to carry out regular maintenance work, carrying out regular exams on the fleet. Also available will be the new addition of an extension bay on road 3 which in the future will enable power work to be carried out on the resident shunters with future Power unit changes. Refuelling will be carried out inside the depot although plans may change and i may sacrifice 2 sidings but im open to ideas.  Most of importantly for me is 2 storage roads containing various classes of loco's prior to transportation to either Preservation or the Scrapman!
