Duel: A Bond Fansite, is one of many fansites dedicated to the best-selling string quartet of all-time, Bond. Bond is Haylie Ecker (1st violin), Eos Chater (2nd violin), Tania Davis (viola), and Gay-Yee Westerhoff (cello). Bond is a classical-crossover string quartet with each of the musicians having an extensive classical background. This site is named after one of my favorite Bond songs, "Duel." Duel features a 'duel' between Haylie and Eos (the 1st & 2nd violinists) while being backed up by Tania and Gay-Yee on viola & cello. It's like a swordfight or debate is going on whenever you listen to the song.

Hello. My name is Anna and I am the webmaster of this site. This is my very first website, let alone my first Bond fansite. I’m still a beginner at this – encouragement and tips are greatly appreciated! Just e-mail me from the link above. I first heard about Bond in the 2006 Australian Open promos. They, the network ESPN, had played clips of their music videos (Explosive and Victory) throughout the fortnight of the Grand Slam. I’ve been listening to Bond from then on. If I had to pick of the members of Bond as my favorite, I'd pick neither of them because they're all my favorite! They're all great really, it's very difficult to choose. It's the same thing with their songs. It's really hard to pick a favorite song of theirs because every songs fits a certain mood. One of many reasons I love Bond! If you're in a certain mood, Bond has a just a song for that. I could listen to them anytime, anyday, and anywhere!!! It's no wonder why they take up most of my, "Top 25 Most Played," playlist on my iPod and iTunes. Bond is and always shall be my most favorite 'band' (or quartet).
