    before you pick an aquarium decide wut kind of tank you want first of fresh or saltwater then if u want a comunity tank or agresive or solitary or if your like me i get all different sorts of aqutic animals frogs,clams,shrimp,fish,and lobsters anything cool then do reaserch on them and find out what they eat,tempertures preffered,community,agresive,or solitary and tankmates


ghost shrimp

    this weekes story is abour ghost shrimp i have recentley bought 2 to go with my 2 guppies in a small tank they run for about .50 cents each and are awesome bottom feeders there good for small tanks that dont have filters anywas there names are shrimper and pokey today the guppies were ramming into the shrimp and my shrimp took off like a jet in the blink of an eye it just moved its tail and flew threw the wtaer the rocky my guppy didnt know what happened that this weekes story if youd like to send me yours e-mail me at smiley_dude123@hotmail.com

    LATIN NAME:
       Acanthrophthalmus kuhlii

    pH:
       7

    WATER TEMP:
       76-82 deg. F.

    AVG. MAX. SIZE:
       4+ inches / 8cm.

    MINIMUM RECOMMENDED TANK SIZE:
       Do not place in tanks smaller than 10 gallons, 20+ gallons is preferred.

    BREEDING:
       Egg-layers

    FEEDING:
       Mainly  Flake, Pellets, Brine Shrimp & Frozen or Live Blood Worms.

    NOTE:
       Best kept in groups of three or more.

    LIGHTING:
       Dark as Possible.

    TEMPERAMENT:
       Peaceful, very good community fish.

    COMMENTS:
       Needs either a rockery or plenty of vegetation to hide in. Can be very active. It is a loach, even though it is known as the "Poor Man's Eel". Pretty much stick to the bottom of the tank.
