Website - use it :)

From here on in and through next season Nathan and I will use the website to drive all player, family contact. We will assume that you have access to the website unless you tell us otherwise. It is important that check the site for important dates and squads - it would be a shame for a boy not to be called but we will assume not available unless you tell us he is.

Always check ... but boots normally 'banned' unless the weather is bad ... bring them but wear Astro's or Trainers!

Always bring Shin Pads, Drinks & Snacks ... always keep an eye on your child and others - the coaches are only responsible for them on the pitch!

Whites finished Runners Up 2 Wins, 1 draw [DTFCB] and one loss

Blacks finished 3rd 3 draws and one win

Trophies - both Watton and South Norfolk Plate Cup Runners Up

I believe it is just a matter of time B4 we win one! ... our football deserves a winning smile!

Litcham July 2nd

Black Match reports on the Black Page

DTFC sent 2 teams to Litcham to play in the 6 a side tournament. With temperatures pushing towards 30 ... it was cruelly hot.

Both Teams had to play Dersingham, Fakenham A & B and of course each other.

First Game on was Dereham v Dereham, with an excellent Ant in goal for the Blacks playing behind a very strong Nick & Tommy B [borrowed for the day from the Whites as was Tom C who had had a very good finish to his league season with the Whites scoring in each of his last 3 games!] with a superbly busy Reece in the middle with a hardworking Daniel and Matti upfront.

The Whites had the ever excellent Kane in goal who would concede only 2 goals in 4 games, playing behind a superb defence including 2 from Jack, Gareth and Nikos, all 3 had a very good morning with Jack making a couple of surging runs finished with 2 excellent long range shots, with Todd and Lewis playing in the middle and Phil upfront.

The Whites are renowned for 3 things - their passing football, preferring big wide pitches, and of course that they finished the Leagues Highest Scorers ... their football deserved better results, with Todd launching attack after attack - as ever he worked his socks off together with Lewis ... the pair of them linking with Phil who converted a couple of excellently taken goals - was it coincidence that the 3-1 win followed the simple passing routine that had taken place 5 mins b4?

The Whites will bounce back from a frustrating day and the Blacks should take this confidence boost into next season.

4 Teams including the Whites finished within 2 points of each other ... with the Blacks winning the Competition ... well done boys!

The Blacks played 4 winning 2 and drawing 1 with the Whites winning 1 and drawing 2.

Dersingham August 13th

Dereham finish 3rd @ Dersingham ...

The boys started well beating a strong Well's team 1-0 - finishing 3rd after winning 3 losing 2 and drawing one. DTFC combined 7-3.

Some excellent football played but drawing against Swaffham in a game DTFC dominated did little to help our chances and losing to Clenchwharton 1-0 did not reflect the game or the football played ... at our best we can beat anyone - twice we played excellent passing football attacking down both wings with Todd & Reece wide working well with Lewis in the middle linking in well with either Phil or Tom upfront supported by a wonderful defence with Matti & Tricks on form in-front of an excellent Ant ... 2nd highest scorers on the day with 4 hitting the 'woodwork'

Wins against Topps & St Edmondsbury showed those watching DTFC at their best, using the full width, passing to feet with some moves taking 5-6 passes to complete.
