DSQUAD Drift Team was formed in late 2005 by Gene Rhodes who at the time owned a Nissan S13 Silvia Drift car and worked at Firestone Ferry Road as a Wheel Alignment Technician and became known as the 'drift alignment specialist' over time. Further down the track, two more joined the team, they are Beau Cogle and Jamie Nelson. Beau is a full-time mechanic working for Toyota and owns the bright kermit green Nissan R32 (4 door) Skyline and Jamie, also a mechanic and works for Holden, owns the silver, Nissan R32 (4 door) Skyline.
