Hi, my name is Daniel. I'm 17 years old.  I'm a sports card collector.  In June 2003 I got the idea to write to players to get their autographs.  I've had a lot of fun writing to players and think it is a great hobby. At one of the most poorly organized and unproffessional signings I have attended, got a nice 22x34 poster signed by All Star Ryan Braun.  Took the picture with the poster in a frame, which is why it's kinda blurry and has some reflections, the actual signed poster looks fantastic.

Former Viking and NFL HOFer Paul Krause took a stay at the resort my aunt and uncle own.  I wasn't able to get down there and get a chance to meet him, but I left a mini-helmet with my aunt and uncle, and they returned it to me today nicely signed.

Got a text message at lunch from my boss saying that Twins pitcher Glen Perkins would be stopping by my work.  When I got out of school, made a quick drive to Walgreens to get some photos printed..and hurried back.  Glen was a genuinely nice guy.  He signed an 8x10 and an OMLB for me.

Good start to this month!  Recieved an autograph I've always wanted today..was spendy, but happy to add Ted Williams to my collection!

Also received a nice Whitey Ford SS OMLB, scans in bucket.

Real fun day today.  Headed over to a Bert Blyleven signing at a Twins Pro Shop.  I have never met a nicer athlete then Blyleven.  Took the time to talk to every person that came through, personalized and added any inscriptions you wanted, joked around, took pictures. After taking a picture with me, he asked me what pitches I throw in baseball, and proceeded to give me a 10 minute pitching lesson..was a great experience.

He signed this hilarious 20x30 photo, SS OMLB w/ K insc, and added his signature on the side panel of a ball already SP'd by Tony Oliva, which I plan to get signed by other Twins greats as a project.

Also have recieved a few nice things the last few days in trades/purchases.  Willie Mays signed 16x20, Paul Molitor SS OMLB, Rod Carew SS OMLB, among other things..scans in my bucket!

Added this nice Nolan Ryan ball in a trade.  Have some real nice items incoming..whenever they arrive I'll put some pictures up here.  Participated in a box break of Just Minors.  Recieved 8 autographed cards, the only notable being a Julio Borbon 1/1. Here's the rest.

Broke a mini-box of 08 Bowman Sterling..got nothing worth noting..that set has a pretty lame line of autographs, so I'd stay away.  In a trade, received this nice Ken Griffey Jr. UDA auth. bronze statue.

Nice TTM return today. Mark Buehrle signed and personalized his new SI cover c/o the ChiSox.  I'm finally getting myself a Kirby Puckett autograph, which is incoming in a trade.  Scanner is outsmarting me today, so I'll figure it out and get some pictures up.

Also, a sweet Johan Santana signed 16x20 in an agreement with a friend.

Good all around day sorta makes up for yesterday's disappointment.  In the mail I recieved a nice signed 11x14 from HOFer Duke Snider.  I sent him a small donation.  Recieved a Carl Crawford signed 16x20 with "All Star MVP '09" inscription from a signing.  At the Dome I got the following.

Happy September...today was a disappointing day.  Jim Thome was scheduled to stop in at my workplace again..but was traded last evening to the Dodgers and couldn't make it.  So, I'm left with an unsigned 20x30, authentic Phillies jersey, and 11x14 painting...but what can you do.  Hoping to hit up the Twins for some graphs tomorrow, so check back.  Will give the AOTM a few more days for voting and then put up August's.

Fun day today.  Headed to a few in person Twins signing.  First got outfielder Denard Span on a 16x20, looks great.  Then headed down the road and got Joe Crede on an 8x10 and the promotional photo they had available.

Forgot how easy getting a TTM graph is..Decided to mail out an 8x10 to Twins pitcher Brian Duensing, recieved it back nicely signed in 4 days.  Last couple days on the AOTM voting, get 'em in.

Hit up the Twins pregame in the parking lot today.  Had a pretty good day.  Bobby Keppel, Denard Span, and Jason Kubel are great guys.  Keppel has the world's best tan line in the photo he signed for me. Here's my haul.

A new month..Means the July AOTM poll will go up officially...lots of big stars last month.
Swung by a couple in person signings today.  Had Twins infielder Brendan Harris sweet spot an OMLB at the first, and got Twins second basemen Nick Punto on an 8x10 at the second.

Recieved three great items today.  First, a Cal Ripken Jr signed Beckett Magazine from the 90s from a purchase.  In a trade I recieved a 22x28 poster signed by MVP Justin Morneau.  Finally, a 16x20 of "The Catch" signed by Say Hey Willie Mays!

 It's been a while!!
Sorry for not updating and all.  Not much lately, I've been pretty busy with life.  Lately, from purchases, a Bert Blyleven signed 8x10 and a Bob Feller signed 8x10.  In the mail today was a nice signed card from DeAngelo Williams.  I also picked up an awesome item from a Twins proshop...The Matt Guerrier banner that hung outside the Metrodome last season, sweet item.  I'll work on some scans and pictures when I figure out this new computer!

Some new stuff...
In trades, I picked up another Delmon Young cert and a Francisco Liriano cert.  In the mail, I recieved back from Pat Neshek and John "Mule" Miles.  Both signed all my items, and Neshek included a card of his own, while Miles wrote me a very nice letter.  Pack pulls: certs of Josh Rupe, Aaron Rakers, Alay Soler, Martin Prado (redemption), and Hanley Ramirez.  Scans and the poll for Autograph of the Year will get up soon!!

One today.  Young White Sox outfielder Ryan Sweeney signed 1/1 in about a month.  This was a cool return, as I got to sit by his dad at a Twins game last year.  I'm on a roll, three straight days!

A good day inperson today.  Went to a Stephon Marbury signing in Burnsville.  Stephon was great, and signed whatever you put infront of him.  He was an hour late, but gave out free tshirts to make up for that.  I got him to sign: A black shoe, a white shoe, a jersey, and a card.  Have any of you ever tried to scan a shoe before..haha, doesn't work too well! Hopefully your mailboxes have been stuffed.

Nice mail day today.  A nice signed photo in from HOF'er Bob Feller.  I included a $5 donation to his museum.  Secondly, I recieved the dreaded US Postal envelope with the 'sorry we destroyed your mail' message on the side.  Inside was my pretty much destroyed envelope.  About a week ago, I had been trying to find out if minor leauger Lucas French signs TTM on a message board.  Someone said they knew him, and they would get my card signed if I sent it to them.  I recieved my card back signed today, and it was in perfect condition.  My friend had taken the time to put the card in a screw down case, so it wasn't damaged at all.  So, I'd like to say thanks alot to my friend for doing that for me!

Some in person autographs to report.  Went to Twins Unplugged in Burnsville.  It's a show hosted by Michael Cuddyer, each time he brings two twins players on as his guests.  His guests were Pat Neshek and Matt Garza this time.  Afterwords there was an autograph signing.  Cuddyer had hurt his hand and couldn't sign, I got Pat on his new tshirt, the shirt is in my 6/30 update.  I had brought a ROMLB for Garza, I asked him if he would please sweetspot it, he responded 'sure I can do that' and then signed it on the side panel. 
Went to Justin Morneau bobblehead with a friend.  Not much for autographs before the game.  Pat Neshek, though he was really late, still took the time to sign. I added him to my team ball.  Jeff Cirillo signed a few, I got two signed cards.  He signed my first card, and I took a look at the autograph and thought, there's no way that's his autograph....I stuck another card out there, and got an even worse signature.  Jeff has one of the worst signature in baseball.  Every Friday the Twins have a charity signing with a former player on the plaza.  They charge $1 for a signature. Today's signer was Frank Viola...I thought $1 for a World Series MVP and former Cy Young award winner was a pretty awesome price!  No mail lately, hopefully your mailboxes have been full.

Two nice ones today.  Jason Hirsh 1/1 c/o Rockies.  I was really happy to see this one turn out nice..I was alittle scared it might bubble or smudge because it is a chrome card.  The other, Chien-Ming Wang 1/1 c/o Yanks.

Throw down a vote for May Autograph of the Month if you would.  Two successes today!  First one from Astros catcher Brad Ausmus, who signed 2/2.  My second success today came from HOF'er Bob Feller 1/1.  I included a small donation to the Bob Feller Museum with my request.  Any day you get two successes is a good day, even better when one is a HOF'er!

Finally.  The slump has ended. A nice success from young San Francisco Giant Fred Lewis.  He signed and personalized 1/1 in about a week.

Quick rant...The Twins autograph party was last Saturday.  The Twins had a big advertising campaign for it, saying $35 for tickets at the event $30 if purchased online.  Well, after finding out that there was also a $3 convenience charge to purchasing online, and you had to give credit card and other personal imformation, my parents and I agreed I should just get one at the show (like I always do).  The day before the show, the Twins announced they were sold out.  So, I was unable to attend.  I had planned on picking up a nice Joe Mauer signed photo there (along with numerous other autographs), so I ended up picking up this nice photo online.  It's numbered /100 and authenticated by Just Memorabilia. 

I don't know what's happening with the mail.  I've sent out request after request to very good signers, and haven't gotten any back lately.

Almost a month since we last talked.  You all probably thought I was killed in a tragic car accident or something, right? Well, I'm still alive (obviously), and the whole tragic car accident thing won't be possible until I start drivers ed later this month.  Hit up Joe Mauer bobblehead day today.  Crappy day for signatures. Slowey signed for one kid, as did Tyner. Guerrier signed a few but I had nothing for him...But, I did get Joe Nathan, Boof Bonser, and Pat Neshek.  Neshek was on the cover of the magazine that published the interview I did with him.  Take alook at Bonser's sig, and then compare it to the one I got in my 5/3/07 update, needless to say, I got his good autograph today at the game.  Nathan and Bonser said they were late and could only sign for five minutes, but ended up signing about a hundred in about half an hour, great guys.  Well, that's all for now.  The mail has been making me depressed lately, hopefully something shows up soon.  Buckle up!

No successes today, but something pretty cool in the mail.  I got a letter saying that the interview I did with Pat Neshek (below 2/2/07) was published in Teen Ink magazine.  I hope to get some requests plugged out soon, so hopefully this site will pick up.

 Sad month so far for TTM...my second success of the month today.  Angels young catcher Mike Napoli signed 1/1 in about three weeks c/o the Angels.  I'll get a scan up as soon as I can.

Some IP successes today at the Twins/DRays game.  Before the game I got Ron Gardenhire (card), Luis Rodriguez (team ball), Mike Redmond (team ball), Matt Guerrier (team ball), and Pat Neshek (8x10, 3 cards).  Neshek was great, as always. After signing my photo, I asked if he had time for a few cards.  When he signed my first card, it bubbled pretty bad as I hadn't rubbed it down beforehand, he then took the time to rub my other cards down before signing.  Great Guy!   Some guys who weren't as nice: Glen Perkins-totally blew us off, didn't acknowledge the fans at all. Ramon Ortiz-he said it was too cold, and he'd sign after the game (it was around 70 degrees out).  I got Jesse Crain (team ball) and Perkins in a free signing on the plaza, Perkins was much nicer while doing this.  After the game (6-4 Twins loss) no one signed. I'll work on some scans.

 A nice surprise today.  I opened a fan pack from the Altoona Curve (AA)...two pocket schedules, not that exciting.  I went to throw the envelope away, but noticed that the inside of the envelope looked like it had righting on it...reached in and pulled out a signed photo of Taber Lee.  I think it's pretty sweet that a team will take the time to send fans autographs in fan packs.  It was a computer print off, on half a sheet of computer paper, they probably just printed two per sheet of paper, and then had him sign them all..Hopefully all your mailboxes have been staying full...

Great day! First off a giant fan pack from the Dodgers, lots of stuff in it.  They spent $5.70 on postage!  Three successes!  Jake Westbrook 1/1.  He's got a sweet autograph, but the card is holographic, and didn't scan that well.  Twins infielder Jeff Cirillo 1/1, and Mark Buehrle 1/1 for my set.

Two good successes lately.  Yesterday, I recieved a sweet spotted baseball from commissioner Bud Selig (sorry about the scan, I don't have access to a digital camera right now). I just sent him  letter at his office requesting an autograph.  Today, I recieved Barry Zito 1/1 for my set from last spring.  I'll work on scans and stuff.

I had the chance to interview Twins pitcher Pat Neshek for a school project. 

Q1) You've been running patneshek.com for most of your career. What prompted you to start the website, and what has kept you interested in running it this long?

I started it to give fans the idea of what goes on in a baseball players life, I've always wondered this when I was growing up and promised myself I would make a site if I got into pro-ball. I think the best part of it is that it is fun, I can interact with everyone and hear some cool stories about something that interest me...autographs. Plus I get some cool stuff from the fans & I love that as well

Q2) Do you plan to continue running your website throughout your career?

I said that I will continue to run the site for a long time as long as it doesn't feel like a chore. So far it has been awesome and I'm far from not doing it.

Q3) You always are kind to your fans, signing autographs whenever asked. That has helped you develop a huge fanbase. What made you decide to be this kind of player when there's so many players in the locker room that have no interaction with there fans?

I think the biggest thing is that I have always been the weird kid waiting outside hotels and ballparks for autographs and I know what it's like to feel that way. I've seen how much it brightened me up back then when some no name AAA player would shoot the breeze with me and it meant a lot...Now that I'm in that position I try not to forget that and give back as much as I can.

Q3) You have very unusual pitching mechanics. How did you start pitching side-armed, and what makes it so affective?

Well I threw that way in Little League, developed over hand in junior high and high school. It all actually stemmed from an injury I got in my last high school game when I got beaned at the plate on my wrist. I couldnt pitch all summer but could play SS and when I was fine to pitch again I was throwing from the side... I didnt even know. What hitters tell me is that it's hard finding where the ball comes out...I hide the ball really good and it has velocity

Q4) You made your major league debut on July 7th, what was going through your head as you headed to the mound for the first time, and as you prepared to throw your first pitch?

A lot of things mostly just throw strikes and get off the field as quick as possible. The debut was tough, I felt like I wasn't out there and was watching myself, I couldn't wait for it to get over because I knew I would feel more comfortable in my next outing.

Q5) What has been your most memorable moment of your baseball career?

Man a lot of things, I think everything as a whole, working long hours in high school while others were partying and picking up girls...Just knowing it all has paid off is the best feeling of all.

Q6) Your most emberrasing moment?

In baseball it was walking into the MN twins clubhouse about a week in and seeing a top 10 things of Pat Neshek you didnt know made by our bullpen coach. He had everything from this site on there including a couple proof shot pics of me signing on a trampoline and other crazy things...I wanted to roll into a hole because everyone saw it...But I remembered if they are making fun of you they must like you deep down!

Q7) You've signed alot of autographs for fans in your career. You've probably came across some odd items (I watched you sign a ladies foot once), what are some of the weirdest items you've signed?

Just about anything you can think of I have signed it. I have signed a baby!!!, peoples feet...hands, faces, hot dog buns...people are nuts sometimes

Q8) What advice would you give a young baseball player with major league dreams?

It's a long road and nobody is going to believe in you so with that said believe in yourself, get yourself in as best training as you can even if it means throwing against a wall like I did for nearly all my life and put yourself in position to get to the next level...one step at a time and you will go far!

Whew, one semester of high school done.  Today in the mail box I recieved 1/1 from Mark Loretta c/o home.  He signed a UD Sweet Spot, Super Sweet Swatches bat card.  These Super Sweet Swatches cards are sweet, they have a giant piece of bat.  
Also, Terry Tiffee, Jason Bartlett, and Glen Perkins autographs in a trade for my '06 Twins collection.

You know what I realized today? This site has been up for almost three years! Thanks a lot to everyone who views this site, and all of you who email me. Hopefully we can keep it going strong for a couple more years.

Wow this is getting long, I'd also like to congratulate the Twins on an amazing comeback to pull out the Central Division Title. The game last Sunday sure was something! Twins win 5-1 in front of 45,000 fans. The Twins needed to win and the Tigers needed to lose for the Twins to take the Central.  When the Twins game ended they got the Tigers game up on the bigscreen. Royals took it in extras! It was insane in there, the players had a great celebration on the field, making a lap around the field to shake hands with fans. It was great. Let's hope we can get it together and take the next three against Oakland!

A sweet success today! I got a call from a friend last night saying Jim Thome was going to be at his mom's work the next day to buy hunting equipment.  So I gave him 3 cards and a photo (2 cards for me, a card and a photo for him), to see if his mom could get them signed. I just got a call from him, Thome signed all of the items, also signed and personalized a hat for each of us, and left tickets for all the workers and their families to Sundays Twins/WSox game! Seems like a great guy!

Good day for graphs. I was totally unprepared for Jack Morris bobblehead, I got a call from a friend saying 'want to go to the game' and had about 10 minutes to throw stuff together. Good day tho. On the Twins side I got, Luis Rodriguez, Pat Neshek, Willie_Eyre, Mike Redmond, and Tony Oliva. Tiger's manager Jim Leyland gave me something slighty resembling a sig...One of only two Twins I need, Matt Garza skipped over me, signed for the kid on one side, an then the one on the other. I was disappointed. If anyone has a Garza they can trade I'll make the deal worthwhile. Also got Andy Van Hekken for my set TTM.

Two good in person graphs this weekend.  I went to a signing with Pat Neshek at the Twins pro shop.  There was about150 people there.  You were only allowed one autograph.  I brought some baseball autographs and hockey cards for Pat, who is a collector, and he signed 5 custom made cards for me.  He also asked for a couple copies of the cards, which with some trouble from the guy in the front row at the Dome, who didn't believe the a MLB player actually wanted a card from a fan and that I wasnt getting an autograph, I got to him.  While we were standing in line outside the pro shop, Tony Oliva walks into the pro shop.  He told us he was doing a signing at a nearby restaurant, so after getting Neshek we ran over there.  The line for Oliva was about 10 people long.  I had him sweet spot a ball.  For some reason he signed his name differently on all the balls he sweetspotted.  Well, hopefully all you're mailboxes have stayed full.  God Bless.

 A good day in person at Billy Martin bobblehead.  Went graphing before the game at the players entrance and got, Joe Vavra (coach) on my helmet, Pat Neshek 2 photos and a ball, Jason Bartlett one photo, Nick Punto on a card, Scott Baker on a card, and I was one of the only people to get Francisco Liriano, he signed two cards for me.  I'll be working on getting scans up when I get the scanner working.  God Bless

A good day!  In the mail I recieved Phil Nevin, 1/1 for my set, c/o the Cubs.  My baseball team attended the Twins/DRays game (Twins won 6-4), and before the game I headed over to the Twins bull pen.  We were told by a security lady that the players weren't allowed to sign autographs (complete crap!) and that we had to return to our seats.  So we did, a little while later I saw a few players start signing down in the bullpen, my main goal was Pat Neshek.  (http://www.patneshek.com/)  I grabbed my stuff and waited till the security lady was distracted and went down there.  I was the only one trying to get Pat's auto, I think I was the only one who new who he was actually.  I gave him my stuff to be signed, which he did (two photos from his debut) and I also complimented his website.  He handed back my photos, and also gave me a baseball, which after grabbing a pen from my seat, I had him sign.  He's a great guy!  Well hopefully all your mailboxes have stayed full.

Twins Autograph Party!  Today at the autograph party I got Brad Radke, Rondell White, Johan Santana, Rick Stelmaszek, Dan Gladden, Tim Laudner, and Paul Molitor. I also got two signed cards and a signed homer hankie from former Twin Gene Larkin who was doing a radio show.

Today at Brad Radke bobblehead, only Jason Kubel, and Matt Guerrier signed before the game.  I got Kubel on a card, but didn't have anything for Guerrier.  I'll try and get the scans for 6/8/06 up soon.

Finally!  A great way to break out of a slump.  Today I recieved three successes, one from Mets star third basemen David Wright, one from prospect Andy LaRoche, and one from Cy Young winner Barry Zito.  Wright and LaRoche each signed a card, and Zito signed two for me.  I believe the David Wright is ghostsigned. I'm very excited about the Twins autograph party!  My main goal is to get Johan Santana and Paul Moliter.  Hopefully everyone's doing well.

Didn't have the best graphing experience at Torii Hunter bobblehead.  First off the bobbleheads were horrible, as a group, the people i went with got nine bobbleheads-5 of them were broken.  The line to trade in broken bobbleheads was hundreds of people long and they eventually ran out and started giving out vouchers to get new ones.  The autographing wasn't much better.  We got there later then we had hope and before the game we got there right as Scott Baker was signing.  I got him to SS a ball.  After the game only Matt Guerrier and Willie Eyre signed for us.  I got both of the on cards.  The security cards had come and said everyone had left so we packed up and left and as we were driving out we looked back and saw that Shannon Stewart was signing.  Wish we could have gotten Stewart.  Well hopefully everyone's day went well.

A good day today.  Twins manager Ron Gardenhire signed two cards from ST, so did Twins 3B/RF Michael Cuddyer, and Tigers pitcher Mike Maroth signed my card and included one of his own.

Another Spring Training success!  Mariner's pitcher Jamie Moyer signed 2 cards from  ST in about 2 weeks.  Also two interesting fan packs, the Brewers sent me a comic book about nicotine, along with other items, and the Dodgers sent me a memo board to write down activities on..a little bit weird but I'll take it...Hopefully the spring training success keep coming!

I was home sick today from school with the flu...but I got my first spring training success of the year to brighten up the day.  Padres outfielder Mike Cameron signed 2/2 cards in about a week and a half c/o ST.  I hopefully will get a scan up soon.

My first multi-success day in a long time!  Hopefully more of those once the baseball season starts!  Today Patriots reciever Troy Brown signed and personalized one card send during the season.  Former pitcher Alejandro Pena signed the front and the back of my card in about two weeks from his home address.  I wasn't very pleased with the reffing during the Super Bowl, but atleast the Steelers won!

School got canceled today because of the roads.  I am going to spend some time working on the site today.  The mail still hasn't come so I don't know if there's anything for me.  Added a new poll, Emmitt Smith won Autograph of the Year beating out Tracy McGrady and SHaun Alexander by five votes.  Added scans to the autograph awards and I hopefully can add polls today.  No one had made an offer on TMac jersey...I am looking to get rid of it soon with spring training starting in only two weeks!

Luis Rivas signed a card (I have never been able to get him until today),  as did Justin Morneau and Matt LeCroy.  Joe Nathan signed the cover of a scorecard he was on, Jason Bartlett added his signature to my helmet, Joe Mauer SS a ball, and Francisco Liriano SS 2 balls.  All in all a good day hopefully all your mailboxes are full and God Bless!

A very good weekend for me autograph wise... Yesterday I attended the Twins 1965 Bobblehead Night.  They gave away bobbleheads of 10 players!  I got 1965 MVP Zoilo Versalles.  Autographs = Terry Mulholland (baseball) Jason Bartlett (baseball) Mike Ryan and Terry Tiffee (on my replica batting helmet) Luis Rodriguez (great every letter autographed ball), Joe Mauer (ball 2 cards) and the surprise of the day Justin Morneau (4 baseballs).  In the mail I acquired autographed photos from Emeka_Okafor and Keith Bogans through the Bobcats.

Sorry, I’ve been a little behind on my updates.  Last Monday at Vikings Training Camp brought in 3 coaches on assorted items, Heath Farwell, Christopher Jones, Ira Cooper, Darren Bennett, Brandon Pinderhughes, Bryant McKinnie, Paul Edinger, Lance Johnstone, Kelly Campbell (2), Matt Ross, #7 (not listed in media guides but played in the Vikings in their preseason win over the Chiefs) all on an autograph pennant.  Nate Burleson signed an 8 by 10, Michael Bennett signed a mini helmet and a card (he signed the mini helmet with the black sharpie he had in his hand instead of my silver and it didn’t show very well on the purple, and the card was signed with an almost dead sharpie so it doesn’t look to good…) Ryan Hoag signed his picture on the back of the media guide,  former running back Ted Brown signed two 8 by 10s for a small fee, Mewelde Moore, who seems like a great guy, signed a g/u jersey card, and Daunte Culpepper signed a Riddell authentic rep mini helmet in silver!  Two fan packs also, Boston Cannons (lacrosse) and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Hello, well the site got frozen again, I need to buy more bandwith.  I've had a very good couple of days with autographs.  Mail successes have been Twins closer Joe Nathan signed two cards c/o the Twins.  Twins pitching prospect Fransisco Liriano signed a custom IC that I had sent to New Britain (AA) before he was called up and it came back from Rochester, NY (AAA), and today I recieved two signed cards from Vikings up and coming running back Mewelde Moore that I sent out last August. 
  Some good in person successes too.  The Dundas Dukes hosted a 35-and older league came against the Hanska Bullheads.  On the bullheads was former catcher Terry Steinbach who signed a ball and a card for me.  On Dundas was former pitcher Dana Kiecker who signed a card and wrote down his address on a business card of my dad's so I can send him some of the pictures I took at the game.  Tony Oliva was the guest manager for Dundas and signed 4 baseballs and a photo for me.  I asked him to personalize one but he said there were to many people in line behind me, I said okay and he signed my ball.  Then a Dukes player who was wondering around told me to turn around and show Oliva my jersey.  I had a custom Oliva jersey on.  Then Oliva asked how to spell my name and personalized my ball.  I had two baseballs in my hand so he also asked if I wanted the other one signed, and of course I said yes.  They were handing out flyers for the game signed by all three and Terry Steinbach signed cards for free! I've had a very good couple of days autograph wise.  Hopefully your mailboxes stay full.

Well no mail... like normal these days... but I did get some new graphs.  In a trade I recieved a signed card from Luis Gonzalez, Brandon Webb, Hank Bauer, and Steven Jackson.  Recieved a custom IC of Jason White, and a J. J. Redick signed photo.  On Saturday I attended the Twins autograph party and the game (we lost 7-2 to the Giants...). At the auto party I got a signed ball from Kyle Lohse, Joe Mays signed my replica batting helmet, Jerry White a homer hankie.  Carlos Silva signed a ball and Terry Mulholland also signed my helmet.  Al Newman signed a '91 Homer Hankie, as did Kevin Tapani.  Got Dick Stigman and Brian Raabe also.  In a grab bag I got a '87 Homer Hankie signed by Dan Gladden, and also got a Justin Morneau bat, which I got Morneau to sign!  Harmon Killebrew signed an OML ball and added his HOF year.  Hopefully the mail will pick up...

Some in person graphs.  On Saturday I went to a signing with Joe Mauer.  I had to stand in line for almost three hours in the rain, but I got my baseball signed on the sweetspot.  On Sunday I went to Jacque Jones bobblehead day.  We got to the Dome at 5:30 in the morning for the 1 o'clock game.  Before the game former pitcher and now Twins pitching coach Rick Anderson and back-up catcher Mike Redmond signed my Twins replica helmet.  After the game (the Twins won 5-2), pitcher Matt Guerrier and first base coach Jerry White signed my helmet.  Young infielder Terry Tiffee sweetspotted a ball for me, as did All-Star closer Joe Nathan and starter Brad Radke.  Hopefully all your mailboxes are full....

Twins prospect Willie Eyre signed 2/2 from spring training. One of the cards came back creased badly in many spots which you can see in the scan. I counted seven different creases not all are visible in the scan though.  It probably happened while going through the post office. But the other card came back in great condition so I'm happy. I added a couple new scans hopefully I can get some more stuff scanned when I have some time.  Well hopefully I'll get some more tomorrow and hopefully everyone else's mailboxes stay full....

My first success of the new year.  Red Sox second basemen Mark Bellhorn signed 2/2.  He signed one card and the Sports Illustrated issue that shows him in mid-air of Mike Matheny in game two of the World Series.  He inscribed the magazine 2004 World Series Champs.  Two eBay purchases came in.  A Mariners jersey signed by Edgar Martinez and a Tracy McGrady signed Rockets jersey!  Well hopefully I can catch up with the emails.  I couldn't get the magazine scanned but when my dad gets back from his business trip, I'll get him to help me. The TMac scan is kind of poor, it looks a lot better in person.

Hey, hope we all had a happy Holidays.  Sorry to everyone who has emailed me I haven't had time to respond.  Not much mail... Texan's runningback Dominick Davis signed 2/2 from the Texans. Tom Glavine came through again signed 2/2 c/o his home, and 2/2 from Jose Cruz Jr.'s home address.  I've gotten a lot of cards but only pulled one game-used and two autographs. The game-used was from Jim Thome.  About a week ago I pulled an autograph of Twin's minor leager  Jose Morales, and well today I reach into a pack of cards and pull none other than another of the exact same card autographed by... guess who.. Jose Morales. Hopefully the mail will pick up.  This will probably be my last update of the year, unless I get mail tomorrow... well everyone have a happy new year!

Well first I'd like to congratulate Johan Santana who defiantly deserved the Cy Young.  Mail has been REAL slow lately.  Nothing since Curtis Martin...  The only thing lately was a Mark Prior signed card I recieved in a trade... I've been sending out to basketball and retired baseball so hopefully something will come in.. I've scanned in most of my recent successes and I'l add them sometime when I have time.

On Friday of last week I recieved Mike Sweeney 1/2 of the Royals in just over 7 months from spring training.  On Saturday I got 1/1 from Twins all-star closer Joe Nathan who is third in the A.L. with 44 saves, and today I recieved Redskins rookie safety Sean Taylor who signed my card in gold sharpie.  Sorry for not updating but I have been real busy with school and football...Hopefully more mail and more updates soon, and also I hope to get my scanner going agian.

Falcons rookie wide reciever Michael Jenkins signed my Rookie Prospect Threads Football card in just under a month c/o the Falcons.  It got creased pretty bad in the mail though, but atleast I finally got something.

My friend took me to Walter Johnson bobblehead day, before the game the players were not in a very good mood, as only pitching coach Rick Anderson, first base coach Jerry West, and relieve pitcher Grant Balfour.  At a free signing outside the dome I got an IC signed by Aaron Fultz and a ball signed by Joe Nathan. After the game it was, as utility player Nick Punto put it, Rookie Torture night... all the rookies on the Twins had to dress up in like skirts, dresses, or something like sparkly pink pants, and had to wear stuff like tank tops, bikini tops, etc.... it was really funny, the best part is they all had to sign autographs! After the game I got a card signed by Kyle Lohse, an IC from Michael Restovich, a Jesse Crain IC, a Grant Balfour IC, and the best autographs of all two baseballs signed by Joe Mauer!

I'm back! Sorry for not updating in so long, I've been busy with school, football, and well there hasn't been much for mail... But finally yesterday something came in. Kabeer Gbaja Biamila of the Packers signed 4/2... I sent him two cards, one of him and Cletidus Hunt and one of just him, he signed both cards, then amazingly got Cletidus Hunt to sign the card also! Plus he sent a signed religous card! All were signed with inscriptions of Jesus! and #94. Today got Jake Delhomme 2/2 and Sammy Baugh returned my card with a note saying he can't sign due to health, that's all for now.

Not sure about the dates... I think this came on Wed. or Thur. but Twins reliever Juan Rincon who is having a great year signed 1/2, he signed my card and kept my custom IC, in a little over 2 months.  I went to the Twins game on Friday, didn't get any graphs because I was with a Church group it was still alot of fun. ( the Twins beat the Indians 5-1) I have been sending out requests to football players and hope to see some of those back soon. I am going to blowup some of my Training Camp pictures and send them to the players, I got some good pics so hopefully I can get those in the mail soon.  I am going to a sports card/memerobilia store on Tuesday, hope to pick up some cards to send in the mail there... oh yah, I picked up a Elton Brand signed 8 by 10 at a store pretty cheap at $6.99, don't no why I'm throwing that into my update, guess that shows how slow its been in the mail lately....

Training Camp!  Didn't get Randy Moss, came REALLY close though.  But I did get some others.....On a pennant I got Cullen Loeffler and Rushen Jones. On a larger pennant I got Corey Chavous, Moe Williams who just signed his first name and put his jersey number because he was being mobbed, Nate Burleson, Antoine Winfield, Larry Ned, Richard Angulo, and Darrion Scott. I got punter Darren Bennett and Aaron Elling on a hat, and last but defiantly not least I got an 8 by 10 signed by Daunte Culpepper! No mail today though.

Wow, long time with no update.... last Saturday Seth Greisinger who was the Twins #5 starter at the beginning of the year before being sent down to AAA Rochester, I  wrote to him while he was with the Twins and he sent my custom index back signed in just over two months. It came back postmarked from Rochester. Today got s very nice success, MLB HOF manager Sparky Anderson signed 2/2 cards c/o his home. His signature is kind of shaky. He has always been a very good signed c/o his home. I am going to Vikings training camp on Monday so hopefully I'l be able to pick up some sigs.

Former Cy Young award winner Orel Hershiser signed 1/3 c/o the Rangers, where he is a coach.  He signed the brochure I sent about him which I asked him to keep, and sent my 2 cards back unsigned. My favorite player Doug Mientkiewicz is now in a Red Sox uniform.

Former Twin, and my Dad's favorite player of all time, Danny Gladden signed 2/2 signed WCCO 830 Radio Station's address which he works at as a Twins announcer. I'm not in the best of moods, the Twins have been seriously considering trading my favorite baseball player Doug Mientkiewicz, it's only 13 minutes to the trade deadline, I'm getting kinda scared... freewebs says I am going over my bandwith so I need to delete some scans and stuff.

Finally, something in, I have a success and a failure to report, let's start with the bad news, HOF'er Harmon Killebrew sent my card back unsigned with a pricelist again, I don't get why he'll sign for many others but not for me? Maybe not a nice enough letter, I don't no... Onto the good news, Twins 3B Corey Koskie, who I have had bad inperson experiences with in the past, signed 5/3, he signed the scorecard, ticket stub, and card I requested he sign, but also sent the two cards I had said he could keep back signed.  Well, I'l be leaving for camp on Sunday and I'l get back on Friday so maybe no updates till then, unless I get something tomorrow.....

My friend took me to Al Newman Bobblehead Day (the Twins lost 5-2). Before the game the Twins were in a great mood, Matt LeCroy signed 1 index card, Aaron Fultz signed 2 ICs. ( 1 someone stepped on and there's a shoeprint on it lol).  Grant Balfour signed the IC already signed by Fultz that didn't have the footprint. Twins All-Star closer Joe Nathan signed 1 IC, and reliever Juan Rincon signed an IC.  OF Torii Hunter signed an IC and 2002 Homer Hankie, and Twins starting pitcher Johan Santana signed for 3 people and I was lucky enough to get him to sign a ball on the sweetspot. Nick Punto, Kyle  Lohse and Luis Rivas signed but they left before signing for me.  We showed up and Joe Mauer was just going in, wish I could have gotten his! We left early so I didnt get any after the game.  No mail AGAIN, man it's been a while!

Sorry, I haven't been able to get freewebs to work its been REALLY messed.  Ok down to the successes, on Friday I went to the Saint Paul Saints game on the Saints side I got pitchers Mike Meyer and Mark Wells to sign a ball and program . The Saints were playing the Sioux City Explorers, on the Explorers side I got their manager Jay Kirkpatrick and pitchers J.D. Scholten, Kevin Orga, and Chris Swiatkewicz.  On Saturday I got Twins pitcher Joe Roa 1/1 custom index c/o the Twins.  On Sunday I attended the Minnesota Twins game, before the game (which we lost) I got Twins pitchers Grant Balfour and Matt Guerrier to sign a baseball, after the game I got Twins OF and, one of my favorite player, Lew Ford to sign two baseballs for me.  I'm still having computer problems and can't get any scans sorry.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, freewebs has been weird. On the 19th I got Juan Pierre 1/2 c/o spring trainig, he kept one card and sent the other back signed.  Today I got Negro League great Buck O'Neil c/o his home. He signed 1/1 index card.  I have been having problems with my computers and can't get the scans, sorry!

My friend brought me to Shannon Stewart Bobblehead Day at the Metrodome.  Before the game backup short stop Nick Punto and OF Shannon Stewart signed my mini-helmet, Stewart also signed a baseball for me.  After the game (which the Twins won 6-5) Doug Mientkiewicz signed a baseball for me, Doug has got to be one of the nicest players in the league, every game I've gone to he has signed for everybody who asked.

Finally, school has ended for me!!! Today I got Brewers OF Scott Podsednik who signed 1/1 c/o the Brewers. A friend of mine got Josh Fogg 2/2 c/o the Pirates, and yesterday got 2/2 from Marquis Grissom, and also a signed photo from Warren Moon, which we are not sure if it is real.

NFL Hall of Famer Sammy Baugh signed my photo in 17 days c/o home. Nice looking signature for someone who is 90 years old. My 2nd HOF signature in under 3 weeks.

Sorry I haven't been able to update. Yesterday I got Chuck Bednarik who filled out my questionaire signed my index card and photo and also put a um nice inscription on it.

Today I got Mike Restovich c/o ST. I also got Bobby Bowden coach of the Florida Seminoles I sent him an email and he sent me a nice inscribed 8*10. All of my scans are like gone from my site so I'll put them back later sry.
