SUPPLIES NEEDED:

Paint Shop Pro - Here

This was written in PSP X2. It should work in other versions. Just different tool placement.

You can find more presets at Scrap Stuff PSP - here

Scroll down toward the bottom and you'll find where to download 24 hearts.

Also, for PSP 8, a heart for you here

Extract these files to your PSP Preset Shapes folder

Mesh Fill

1. File > New > New Image > 40 X 40 Pixels > 72.000 Resolutions

Raster Background > Transparent > OK

2. Pen Tool > Point to Point > Connect Segments  Checked > Create on Vector

Show Nodes > Line Style Solid > Width 2.00 > Anti-alias Checked

3. Materials Palette - Foreground Black #000000 > Background Null

4. With the Pen Tool, click in the lower corner or which ever corner you want to start.

Then click on the opposite corner. We're going to make a larger "X" to play with.

Once you have this made, got to Layers > Convert to Raster Layer

5. Layers > Duplicate > Image > Mirror > Layers > Merge > Merge Visible

6. Selections > Select All > Selections > Contract by 2 > Edit > Copy > Edit > Paste as a new image

This is just in case you don't get the lines all the way to the corners and it will be seamless.

We're done with this so you can minimize it for later use. Ya' might want to save this image

as a png for future use. :-)

Creating the Image

1. File > New > New Image > 400 X 400 Pixels > 72.000 Resolution

Anti-alias Checked > Line Width 2

3. Material Palette - Foreground Black #000000 Background set to the "X" we just made

To get the mesh fill, left click on the Background > Material Properties > Pattern > Find your fill image

Change the size to suit your taste > mine is set at 34 > Angle 0 > OK
