Creative editing can be anything really.
For
example 2 sets of armor, one for melee damage and one for magic dueling.
Creative Editing for Ranged
The following template has 25% ranged block
and 45% melee block and should be used with the editing combination
below (Clipper Shield)
sh_ra_w_g_o_k_m_fin
Possible Creative Ranged Editing #1
Use
2 Shield Rings to get 110% Ranged Block + add Dmg
Make
2 shield rings 25%=50% Block
Add
4 Conserving (2 on each shield ring) 15%=60% Dodge
2 ofagony on one shield ring
2 ofrepression on one shield ring
33 prefix left for blocks
11 suffix left for damage adders
All blocks can be unbroken except ranged
Possible Creative Ranged Editing #2
Use
1 Shield Amulet = 105% Ranged Block
Make
1 Shield Amulet 25% Block + 3 cunning = 85% total
Add
1 Cunning on Ring #3 = 20%
35 prefix left for blocks
12 suffix left for damage adders
All blocks can be
unbroken except ranged
These are both risky edits
because they can be broken however you may want to take that risk to
gain more blocks! The
first one will give better protection because people do not usually
break recoiling. The second one gives you 2 more blocks. It a trade off
really!
Creative Editing for Blocks
There are
many modifiers that add magic block, but you will also get a bonus with some
over others.
Look at the following examples:
Exceptional
Adds 17 to Health
1 Mana Stolen Per Hit
Adds 9 to Armor
Magic Damage Reduced by 8%
Radiant
Magic Damage Reduced by 5%
Piercing Damage Reduced by 7%
+13% Chance to Hit Enemy
+5% Chance to Dodge Ranged Attack
Miraculous
Adds 7 to Armor
Magic Damage Reduced by 5%
+8% Chance to Block Melee Attack
Peerless
Adds 13 to Armor
+2% Chance to Block Melee Attack
+5% Chance to Block Magic Attacks
3% of Damage Reflected to Enemy
Adds 1 to Nature Magic Skill
Esteemed
4 Mana Stolen Per Hit
+5% Chance to Block Magic Attacks
+5% Chance to Dodge Melee Attack
5% of Damage Reflected to Enemy
Adds 22 to Melee Max Damage
Unequivocal
2 Health Stolen Per Hit
+5% Chance to Inflict a Piercing Hit
+8% Chance to Block Magic Attacks
+9% Chance to Hit Enemy with a Ranged Weapon
Adds 7 to Max Damage - Ranged
Divine
+8% Chance
to Block Magic Attacks
+5% Chance to Dodge Melee Attack
Ranged Damage Reduced by 3%
Assured
Adds 1 to Ranged Skill
Magic Damage Reduced by 7%
+5% Chance to Block Melee Attack
*****************************************
Now if you are making a Legolos Archer type of character you would use
Unequivocal. Not only do you get the 8% magic block you also add 7 to max dmg on
your bow and a 9% increased chance to hit the enemy with a bow, plus 2 health
points for every hit.
It may not seem like much but if you put 13 Unequivocal on your stuff to block
magic you also get +91 max bow dmg and +117% chance to hit an enemy with a bow.
You would use more like 20 of these to have a good magic block and that adds up
to and extra 140 points of dmg on your bow.
*****************************************
Lets look at using Assured. It's a good modifier to use because if you use
enough of them you don't have to add melee block like wiley or uncompromising.
Most players will break uncompromising or wiley very easily. But if you have 20
or more Assured as your magic block you don't have to waste 7 slots for wiley
and you are 100% covered by melee. Imagine having 33 assured if used with
creative edit for ranged.
*****************************************
Esteemed is great for a melee fighter type because it adds 22 to max melee dmg
and 5% reflect along with the magic block and melee blocks. In order to use
Esteemed I would suggest 25 to 30 blocks. The reason for this is if you use 20
to 22 of them and a player hits you with a "Persevering" breaker 3 times you
will start to receive damage. 20 x 5% magic block = 100%. So one hit and your at
95% magic block. Just by using Esteemed over Persevering for your blocks adds
550 to your melee dmg if you use 25 of them.
Esteemed has it's pros and cons like any of them so get creative with your
blocks and check them all out. See what kind of bonus you want to add in.
Something like Unparalleled or Glimmering you might think is good but Melee
reduce will not work to block melee attacks so really there is no bonus there.
Making Your Spell Book
For magic duels you will
need 12 breaker spells. With these 12 spells you can kill any player in time.
Here are the four spells you will need for all 12 breakers. Cast about 25 of
them before changing spells and if your opponent is not broken by then go back to
Merciless Ruthless Stringent. If they have 35 merciless it will take 32
hits to break them.
