Here are a few HIGHLIGHTS from our June 2006 Linear Appraisal session . . . to introduce you to a few special Togg and Nubian girls from Dry Creek Acres . . . . .
GCH Dry Creek Acres Rallie dob 6/02 LA90-VEVE
Rallie earned CH status before turning age two. Rallie’s full sister Dry Creek Acres Simi – the 1st Place Senior Togg kid at 2003 ADGA Nationals, has produced three beautiful daughters – Tandi (LA87-VVVV as a 2-yr-old), Venus and Whirlwind. Rallie’s daughter Dry Creek Acres Vallie, and grand-daughter Dry Creek Acres Wrallie-Too, are key does with bright futures in our herd. Dry Creek Acres Simi Venus was the 2nd-Place Dry Yearling at 2006 ADGA Nationals.
SGCH Sunshine Dandie Fabyr dob 2/01 LA91-EEEE
We purchased Fabyr as a bred, never- shown 2-year-old doe. She kidded (giving us Sunshine MR Sawyer Sabyr (dob 12/03 LA90-VEE) and finished her CH status the next year. We’re retaining Fabyr’s 2006 buckling Dry Creek Acres Warrior as a junior Toggenburg herdsire.
Dry Creek Acres Selena dob 2/03 LA89-VEVE
Selena (like Tulip, see below) is descended from one of our four original crossbred does. Selena is a strong three-year-old with a bright future. 2 GCH legs.
CH Dry Creek Acres Spring Tulip dob 2/04 LA88-VVVE
Tulip -- descended from one of our four original does -- is a first-freshening two-year-old with a fabulous udder. She completed her Permanent Championship in 2006!
CH Salt Hawk MM Osage Jade dob 3/03 LA90-EEVE
While at the 2003 Kansas State Fair, we met the Robinsons and brought home this stylish little kid, who finished her CH status as a 2-year-old first freshener. Jade was Senior Reserve Champion at 2006 NAILE! Her daughter Dry Creek Acres Jade Violet (dob 3/05) is a yearling-first-freshener with two GCH legs.
GCH Midwest-Meadows Narcissus dob 3/00 LA90-VEEE
“Narcie” came to live at Dry Creek Acres as a never-shown three-year old. We’re still waiting for a daughter from her!
CH Dewmar-Acres Tia Rosa dob 5/02 LA90-VEEE
4*M Dewmar-Acres Chasity dob 3/00 LA88-VEVV
Tia and “Chas” both came to us from Colorado as never-shown does. Chasity has two GCH legs and many RGCHs, and Tia Rosa has earned her Permanent Championship in 2006! Tia's daughter Dry Creek Acres Wiota was 1st Place Junior Kid at 2006 ADGA Nationals . . . and daughter Dry Creek Acres Wanita was just behind Wiota in 4th Place.
GCH Fixer-up Rita dob 3/02 LA90-VEEE
Rita arrived as a young Nubian dry yearling from South Dakota – who earned Reserve Championships until 2006 when she earned 3 GCHs to finish her permanent status! Rita was the 9th-Place 4-year old at 2006 ADGA Nationals! We retained her buckling Dry Creek Acres Wetonka as a new Nubian Junior Herdsire.
