John Edwards
When we first got in contact with the Druids, it was John who wrote back to invite us all along to watch. He also helped with a great deal of the organisation required to make the first trip happen (as well as helping with the subsequent trips). John is the original Druids trip legend and even bought a round for the whole lot of us one year which always helps in winning hearts and minds!
Joe Desormeaux
Although he has now left the Druids, Joe won our vote for man of the match on two of the first three years and scored key goals in the wins in 2003 and 2004. He also gave us his man of the match bottle of wine one year but thats not why we like him... honest! We all hope Joe will rejoin the Druids soon and we can sing our Desormeaux wooooaaaahhhh!!!! song.
Lee Kendall
The Haverfordwest goalkeeper when we watched in 2005 gave us some great banter after we did the usual "you're s**t AAAAAHHHHHH!!!" on his goal kicks. He also threw in a forward roll when he made a save and showed us a few tricks when we were waiting for a sub to go off. After making a good save he turned round to us and said "you see that? I'm f***ing great I am!!". Brilliant
Aled Rowlands
Has played for the Druids in most of the games we have seen and has put in some legendary performances. None of us will forget the outrageous handball which saved the Druids in the 3-2 cracker in 2003. Aled could be considered an honourary member of the DTID competition as he has played in all the games we have been to. He has also spared some of his time to chat to some of the drunken louts who make up our group on the trips!
