It had been heard by some of the wolves that where hunting in the Druid pack as they hid carefully in the brush. The two alphas of the Beartooth pack were talking about an ambush on the Druid territory. They were saying they would strike when the moon was full. Scimitar was the alpha male of the Beartooth pack and Kriss was his mate and alpha female. Since they had already decided on the night that they would attack them they now needed a plan to deal with the rebellious members of the Druid pack. They decided that they would call their pack before the challenge and have them watch in the shadows and if any of the Druid’s tried to jump in and save their alpha then the Beartooth pack would jump in and attack all of the Druid members and the betas would help the alphas kill the Druid leaders. It was a perfect plan, it would have been even better if the hunters of the Druid pack had not heard. After the two Beartooth alphas were done talking the two hunters quickly ran to their alpha Sabre and the alpha female Katana. It was bad news for all of the pack, especially Katana because she was pregnant. Sabre had called a pack meeting prior to hearing the news and shared it with the rest of his pack. He assured them that he would not loose and if he actually did they were to keep Katana safe and the new borns as well. After the meeting was over he began to look around his pack lands for a good place to train. He had trained many nights, preparing his body both mentally and physically for the fight. He knew the traditional fighting rules in the wolf world and it was just to be Sabre and Scimitar that were going to fight but he knew that they would cheat and ambush him. Since this was a fight for land it could be a fight to the death which is what Sabre feared the most. Many nights had passed and before he knew it the moon was already full. The pack was gathered around the dens as Sabre and Katana came out. They all bowed their head down in submission to both of them as the two alphas passed through. They stood, looking up at the full moon and heard a noise from the distance. All of the wolves looked into the direction to see Scimitar and Kriss both came into view. “IT seems that you were expecting us.” Scimitar had said as he walked over to Sabre. “I challenge you for your territory and all of the wolves inside of it.” Sabre nodded his head. “Very well.” They had begun to fight. Not only was Scimitar fighting with Sabre physically but he was also using biological warfare. Even he did not know that he was a carrier of the deadly rabies virus. As he sunk his fangs into Sabre he had been spreading the disease. When the fight was over Scimitar had lost and was chased back into his packlands. Just a few weeks later Scimitar had died from the rabies and Sabre was starting to go insane and for the sake of his pack Katana had kicked him out into the unknown lands. He started to attack the prey around him just for the fun of it and that had caused the prey to have the virus as well. Soon he had died and now the pack was without a leader. They knew that he was sick but was not sure as to what he had. They heard that the Beartooth pack was decreasing in great numbers but they were also growing stronger. Soon Katana had her pups, two boys and a girl. The first born boy was named Blayde, the girl was named Sai and the last was named Dirk. They were all healthy and to help the pack hopefully get rid of the virus they all moved, only those that were certain did not have the virus were the ones that moved. It was unknown to any of them that Dirk was planning to leave the pack and go rule over the Beartooth territory. One day he just vanished and they didn’t go after him. Sai had gotten the virus while hunting and was banished from the pack. Now Blayde was old enough to be the alpha and did become just that. The wolves are still not sure if the virus is over with or not or if another break out will occur. There is also a chance that the Beartooth pack is coming back to a great glory.
