We are sure most of you have already heard about Johnny Ian's (bass) departure from Drugzone. It was his personal decision and we do not wish to comment on the the current situation. We are NOT looking for a new member to join Drugzone, so please do NOT contact us concerning this matter. If you have questions about the reasons, feel free to contact Johnny on MySpace.
NONE of the already confirmed concert dates will be cancelled.

After a successful fan club meeting followed by their Don't Cure The Sickness Show, Linda Daemon says thank you to their fans by sharing her experiences:
Drugzone is just about 3 and a half years old. Our little demon child is finally growing up. With the help of some eager drugzonites, we were able to plan our first ever fan club meeting in Rocktogon (Budapest).
People started arriving at 3pm and my first job was to make a huge batch of mulled wine. Yummy! (No poison this time.) When we started advertising the fan club meeting, I had an idea that everyone should make some kind of cakes or cookies so we could all eat while we were talking. It turned out to be a great idea, even I baked a lemon merange cake. There were loads of muffins, cinnamon cake, apple pie all sorts of delicious treats. I tasted everything, so I think I should put off the sweets for a month or so. Unlike my bandmates, who need some meat on their bones anyway.
Niara started everything off by asking some questions that she had written down prior to the meeting. It was a good idea, because most of the people were too shy to ask questions anyway. After all the questions were asked and answered by myself or other members of Drugzone, I noticed that I knew almost each and every person there. (I have a habit of answering every comment, note, e-mail and message that Drugzone receives on the Internet. I know loads of people.) So I started a game of: "Bet I can tell you who you are and where we first got acquainted." This meant going from one person to the next, stating their name and also remembering which website we first met on. I was pretty damn good, if I do say so myself.
After that we mostly let things go there own way. Everyone had their own private questions for Drugzone members, so we just let everyone mingle and talk. Many pictures were taken, Drugzone CD's were bought, we signed all sorts of things and everyone just kept on munching down on those delicious sweets.
The meeting was over at 5pm, so we could get ready for our soundcheck.
Our Don't Cure The Sickness Show started just a few minutes after 9pm. I had an idea of playing patient and doctor at the same time. The whole show was built around this idea. All you need is lots of blood, some cool utensils, gauze and a wicked smile on your face. Hope you enjoyed the show as much as I did.
