Team Driving Miss Daisy - Mongol Rally 2007

Two girls, one car, unlimited adventure

Who Are We?

Sophie Willingale comes from the relatively obscure town of Malmesbury but is mainly based in Southampton.  She speaks a tiny bit of French (which isn't going to be much help) and obviously English. Sophie has been driving for just under 2 years, never driven abroad and cannot currently even change a bicycle tyre.

Helen Emery originally comes from Somerset and, after completing her degree, has spent the last eight years living near Redhill, Surrey.  She can speak German (albeit a little rustily!) and has been driving for just over 13 years. She has done some driving abroad and has done basic mechanics on her own cars, including changing a distributor and throttle body.

Anthony Matthews is the team manager and has the enviable task of sourcing and fixing up the car to such an extent it holds together until the finish line.  He lives in the Welsh Valleys (although he isn't Welsh) and has the support of the Parkers (website) forum community as well as 'the lads in Swansea,' who will be helping fix up the rally mobile.
