The vampires are the bad people in drifting darkness. They started the devistating war that sunk Africa to califonia (leaveing only part of the U.S. Australia, and south america), made Japan, Germany, and Romainia the capitals of the world. They are now trying too make a super army (like china... not really) too assure victory the next time the mortals want to fight.
