... you notice the papers stewn all over the floor, various pencils litter the ground, and a general disarray of the place. The lighting of the den is fairly dim compared to the blazing sunlight outside, and feel grateful for the cool interior. The walls are painted light green, and the doors are darker green to contrast. After you wipe your feet on the plastic grass welcome mat on the rough hewn stone floor of the welcome area, you set your shoes aside and step onto a dark purple carpet.
In the living area there are tall book cases, dark traditional styled ones with center deviders which hold a large collection of books of all kinds. On top of these hansome shelves, you glance at the delicate statuettes of dragons, faries, and other creatures. The walls are decorated with simple paintings, and the tables are ornamented with semi precious stones, unique rocks, bits of drift wood collected from the sea, and fresh flowers from outside. Contrasting this regal and calm setting is rock music issuing from a small cd player on one of the tables near the overstuffed couch. Quietley playing is Mettalica, and next to the device is a tidy stack of CD cases. You read the titles, and find that the owner of this house enjoys listening to Queen, Gorillaz, Bob Dylan, Jimmy Hendrix, Soundscape music, and a few more.
After your inspection, you now notice a light purple sticky note stuck to the tabletop. You take it and read: "Sorry I'm a bit busy today, feel free to make yourself at home and look around. ~ Kena Thericene" Knowing you are totally welcomed and at home here, you now conciter what you shall do to while away your time. Perhaps you will leaf through some of the papers you see stacked looseley on the ground, or take a look at the book titles so carefully arranged. Maybe you want to take the pen and leave a note yourself for the owner to find.
