Thomas Land Map Source: [http://www.draytonmanor.co.uk/content/Pdf/Thomas_Land_Map.pdf] Hello, sorry for the lack of updates, there has been various problems, but now were're back! Drayton Manor Net are proud to announce that Thomas Land is now open at Drayton Manor! This is Europe's 1st Thomas Land and is a great attraction for children, families and Thomas fans young & old! It is based on the Thomas & Friends TV series, a very popular children's programme and was made at a cost of £5million to make the magicial Island of Sodor. Children from Bird Bush Primary School were invited to try out the 12 wonderful new rides and attractions and they said "Its really fun and it's really good". Thomas Land consists of many attractions including train rides from Thomas or Percy, Troublesome Trucks Runaway Coaster, Cranky's Drop Tower and Jeremy's Flying Academy. Thomas Land is certainly worth the investment from Drayton Manor and surely it is a much greater children's area than Robinson's Land because of the wider appeal and freshness of the area, and the authentic theming and the attraction names makes it definitely a true Thomas the Tank Engine Land which is something to be proud of. Check out the link for the Tamworth Herald article, plus their very own photo gallery of the preview day and the official Thomas Land map at the second link. * Soon we will add the 2008 map to our gallery & update the rumours & rides sections for the addition of Thomas Land. |
