To end on a good note I will state the cons now!- Drayton Manors 4 million? extravaganser has unfortunatley dated more than other coasters of the same age (arguably because they choose a comparatively cheap budget make,Intamin, in comparison to prefered B & M) The result of this is one of the roughtest steel rollercoasters in the U.K. Another gripe is that this supposedly themed ride by "Space Leisure" seems not even to have seen paint in some places. This most certainly has to be the only ride I've ever known to get a longer que build up out of season than in, as they run more trains in the summer. Finally there's the "dead section" which is one of the longest straight, level pieces of track on any coaster in the world, it has often been suggest a helix over/under the station could be added (which would also lengthen the 40 sec ride). My alternative would be a long drawn in-line twist over action park.
On the bright side this ride is unique, whilst some of the other stand ups are operated by theme park chains, meaning several parks have identical coasters. Each inversion is closely followed up by another meaning its literally a shockwave.
This ride may not be top notch but it is also often under rated.
