The Dragons & Spirits

There are currently four Dragons and a number of Official Dragon Friends, who hang out with us. We are into rock climbing now and again and we are closely connected with the New Southgate Millennium Green, as volunteers.  Becoming a Dragon is difficult, since we like to ensure that people who want to become one know what we are about and can fit in fully with what we do.   

  Dragons are into languages and talk in bits and pieces of lots of languages, learning a few words of a new language is something we do quite a lot- BSL, Turkish, Polish, Greek, to name but a few

We give blood- a number of our 'realm' give blood or come and support those who do. 

 We associate very strongly with dragons, wearing clothes and jewellery with dragons on, creating art, literature and animation involving dragons.

We are into Youth Hostels and usually stay in one when we travel together. 

We are interested in darts and play together quite a lot.   

I am into art and being loud.  I like karaoke, swimming, drawing and dancing.  I am a Flash animator on Newgrounds under the name of earthdragon77.  I am a regular volunteer on the Millennium Green and a gardener by trade.  I am a blood donor.

I am a traveller, I guess thats why I am the Air Dragon.  You never know when I will jet off to some foreign country.  Come to think of it neither do I-  I like to be spontaneous!  I get restless if I stick around too long.  The Dragons & Spirits are used to me disappearing off for a while, but I always come back- like a bad penny, they say!

 I am a volunteer on the Millennium Green from time to time.  I love my football, I have been a loyal Tottenham Hotspurs fan all my life, I work as a steward there, so I get to see the matches and get paid for it.

I have been an Official Dragon Friend for a couple of years now, meeting up with these crazy people and joining in with some of the fun things they do:  We sing Karaoke together, we swim and I join them with the volunteer work they do.  They have just decided to make me a Dragon, which is a big surprise as I haven't even seen them much lately, but since I have always admired their idea of trying to stick together and help each other and other people, I look forward to being given a few more invitations now.  I have given blood a few times and I will add my family's Italian to the Dragon collection of languages.
