All our locos are now hard at work now we are in our summer season and there’s a few alterations the operational fleet our newly restored “Thomas 2” Loco Danny is undergoing a mid-life overhaul and is having a wide range of work carried out to it to see it return to tracks.
Princess is now back in regular services after having a set of new wheels fitted and 2 new injectors .
Andrew is now being used as a stand by loco which means it will run when we need to use it.
Riverside Halt Upgrade
Phase 2 of the planed upgrade of Riverside Halt has seen a new fence put round Platform 1 and lots more work will be carried out in the future to see the upkeep of the station.

Our upgrade plan
We are currently carrying out essential track work to some parts of the route to help improve the quality of the rides and generally pro long the life of the track we would like to thank all our passengers for their understanding during the upgrade.
Some of our locos are benefiting from the upgrade and are having some refurbishments carried out D1015 is having a full overhaul with wheel sets being turned and general servicing thus making it ready for service ready for the busy summer ahead.
Stations are also being refurbished with Otterspool Junction having a new fence to replace an old rotten one also a new carpet in the waiting room has been fitted to make the overall appearance look a lot better than before. Its hoped that phase two of the works at Riverside Halt will be carried out this year with new fence and a new roof on the waiting room on Platform 1 this is hoped to be done at some point in the year.
We would like to apologise for the late news update this was due to approval by management
