                   The most famous dragon myths are those from the medeviel periods, but the origin of dragon myths is unknown. Scientificly speaking, dragons evolved over millions of years from reptiles around the time  dinosaurs started to evolve. Who knows, 65 million years ago maybe a t-rex and dragon fought! ( if dragons exist, that is) The Aztec serpent god quexelaqatel, could have been a feathered dragon which would have evolved from the mythical phonix.

    Merlin

          The story of merlin is well known in Dragon lore.....

               The tale goes that King Vortigern tried to build a fortress in Dinas Ermys, Wales. But as soon as the walls went up they came done again.Merlin was able to explain thit baffling mystery. They where two dragons, a red Welsh and a White saxon, that were imprisoned below the ground before King Llud and were constantly fighting. Merlin solved the problem by releasing the the dragons. They then fought to the death. The red dragon won. King Vortigern to that as an omem of his victory against the saxons, which came true.
